Holiday on Ice 1980 - memories of judy garland

opening number as in EU Silver division, yet this time performed by Orange division cast after return from Far East. Recorded in May 1986, Verona, Italy.
Stephen Greenman (cast) remembers: We were called Orange Division at this time and in this version of the Russian number Ted was the choreographer although it was re-set for this tour by David Baker. In the spring of 1986 when this was filmed these shows were still touring: ...Gold with Swan Lake, Silver Counterpoint, Green Disco/Scottish, Blue Ice & Cymbals. When the show closed in Bergamo 3rd June 1986 we had a vacation before going back to the Far East as Tan Division and Orange Division opened the new show that year with the Italian / Chinese production

I was in Silver from '79 to '81 and was there in Paris 1980 - such a great show! Wonderful memories!

skated the whole show Ted Shuffle choreographed it and it had one of the best finales ever,,, San Fransisco

This production somehow made it the U.S. under the show title "Ice Around the World". If memory serves correctly it (unfortunately) did not complete it's full tour. Had friends in it that I previously skated with in Ice Follies. Saw this prod when it was here. It was great to see a HOI Europe production as I heard so many great things about HOI Europe when in Follies and then Capades. Ahhhhh...how I wish these types of shows were still around in the US. HOI Europe continues to is nail it.
