I've only just started the video but yay Vietri!! My fave spot on the Amalfi coast! My partner is from Salerno so we go often. If you manage to get to Salerno (there's a train or bus), it's worth a visit for the historic centre and a 'gelato con brioche' from Nettuno gelateria just across from the sea 😊😊

Oh 🤩 We loved both Vietri and Salerno. Used the local buses a lot. What a wonderful place to visit often! We found the people so friendly and helpful ❤️🍋🍋🍋📚📚📚💛💛💛

I was in Italy many years ago and loved the Amalfi Coast, the seas are beautiful, just gems. Glad your enjoying the wonderful weather there and the amazing scenery. I have seen adaptations of two of Ediths books 'The Age of Innocence' and 'The Buccaneers' one was the movie and the other was a BBC mini series in 1995, I know there is a more recent adaptation of this, I think it's a tv series, might be on tv in Britain at the moment as quite recent series. Looking forward to seeing Simon and Chris with you next time and to more updates on your reading and holidays. ☀ 🌊 ⛵ 🍷

Great reviews as always! I have read earlier this year a novella by Edith Wharton called Xingzu and was at first a bit consued as well by the depiction of some of the characters than realized it was a satire and ended up really enjoying it. As you are in Italy, I would like to recommend you an italian book called "The Unbreakable Heart of Oliva Denaro" written by Viola Ardone, I think you'd enjoy it I hope the rest of your holidays will go well 😊
