I use to go with my mum a brothers in the 70,s and 80,s loved every minute of it they were the good times i went on my own before ayr changed to haven im now approching sixty i,ll still remember them

good film. I'm from Belfast and made that same seacat trip many times when I worked as a lifeguard in wondersplash....best job in the world, loved working there and the wonderwest atmosphere was great

Back in the 70s my mum had a jazz band she took the lot of them to Skegness for a week my sister got herself a boyfriend after a year he came to live with us then when she was 19 there both got married he worked at Buttlins on the roller skates ,when we were little we used to go to all the Buttlins holliday camps my fave was Skegness and Minehead when I see whats left it breaks my heart I can remember the good times we had

I went online to have a look at some butlins holidays a few days ago and was shocked at the prices! Its absolutely extortionate now 😲 Used to be it was tailored towards working class families. Id be cheaper booking a 2 week holiday in the south of bloody France now😬
