Welcome to the very first episode of our Princess Cruises Sky princess Norwegian Fjords vlog series!
In this episode we board the beautiful Sky Princess cruise ship, have a spot of lunch in Alfreddo's. cocktails in Good Spirits at Sea, give you a cabin tour around our Sky Princess obstructed balcony cabin and have our main meal in the main dining room.
This 7 night Sky Princess cruise will take us to the Norwegian Fjords, known as the land of the midnight sun. We will be visiting Bergen, Skjolden, Olden and Stavanger. This is our 3rd time visiting the Norwegian Fjords - we just love the scenery and sailing through the fjords.
During the series, you might recognise a few other travel bloggers and vloggers, this is because also onboard was: Brits on a Ship, Chad Cruisers, Cruise Buoys, Innocents Abroad, Nick Tours and Paul and Carole love to travel - so expect lots of fun and laughter as the drinks will be flowing all week!

About Us
We started cruising in 2014 by doing a mini break on P&O Aurora. Making videos of our cruises and sharing our experiences has become our hobby, they may not be to everyone's tastes but they are our way of remembering the great times we've had, so please keep this in mind - we are not professionals and the complete video is shot and edited on an iPhone in our spare time. The videos are our opinions and experiences while on board.
We may not be the youngest cruisers but we are trying to break the stereotype that cruising is for retired people. This is our favorite premium balcony - had E109 on the Regal and E111 on Majestic - just love the big balconies! Now you gave the secret away in getting a big balcony for cheaper :P......Glad you enjoyed your Norway Cruise

Cabin e108 I’m currently putting together a sort of cabin tour it’s not as polished as our usual cabin tours because we enjoyed the sail away party a bit too much and we we’re running late for dinner, but I’m hoping it will be semi useful and as We made the effort even tipsy I’m going to release it soon.😂😂🙈

We were in cabin E104 in may loved it !! That balcony is fantastic 🙂 we have now booked one of the extra large balconies on dolphin deck for next year D705 , I don't think it's right though that most mini suites have those ridiculous small balconies 😔

Yeah, these ones were fab! Yeah, some on the mini suites are small, we were lucky to have one of the bigger ones last year as we were under the sky walk on the wider end :)

Great video lads, looks like you all had a blast. We are cruising on the this ship in May 24 and have a room at the back of the ship overlooking the wake, have you ever stayed in a room like this and if so what is it like? any different to the rooms on the side of the ship?

Did your cruise sail at full capacity it looks very busy on board .Just of Edge it was only 60% full according to some staff alot less people ,I was surprised !!they could afford do that as a company. Did you find the service on princess good or did you have to wait for drinks etc alot of people complaining on social media about not enough staff on board during the summer don't know if that's true. Was thinking of princess for Fjords next summer ps loved your balcony.

Not sure what the capacity was but it was quite full. Service was a little slow and the staff were trying so hard bless them. We've seen quite a few complaints over the summer from UK cruisers about service - think the cruise lines are struggling a little with staff, plus a number of new cruisers too or cruisers who got used to last years low capacity. Hopefully things will keep improving. We definitely recommend Princess to the fjords next year!

Yes, it’s you room key, it’s how you pay for things and it also tracks you, so they can bring you drinks or you can see where your cabin mate is. They call them Ocean Medallion 😀

Is there a dining room onboard or just eateries off the lobby?

There are main dining rooms 3 in fact, then there’s speciality restaurants such as Sabatini’s and crown grill, Sur la mer is a specialty restaurant but it’s on the top level of the atrium, Alfredo’s the pizza/pasta restaurant is complimentary but on the second level of the atrium. The buffet is up on deck 16 but unlike other cruise lines it closes after dinner really which is why the international cafe is open 24hrs a day. That’s the one down on the lowest level, like a counter for pastries sandwiches and cakes etc.

We only broke the 15 drinks 3 times, two of those times we’d timed it right for bed lol the other night we just bought a round and had a boogie then snacks and bed. The package still saved us money in the long run😉
