20 year old man here. For years I’ve wrestled with what seems to be a calling to the Religious Life. I wish I was better Catechized at a young age, even though I went through Catholic school 10 years of my life. It would have spared me so much unnecessary suffering. I can’t imagine what will become of those who do not attend Catholic school at all, like my siblings. Also, social media outlets such as Instagram are very dangerous to the youth, as it implicitly pushes unhealthy ideas, and vanities. I myself have tasted of the harm it does. Raising children up right, morally and intellectually is very important. To embrace such a calling you yourself must be upright. It’s truly a blessing to have a priest like Father Ripperger who preaches very clear, sober, traditional Catholic teachings. Truly like food for the soul, or rather, the intellect

@ yeah I understand. It’s very easy to get lost without a mentor. You need a spiritual father who is discerning who knows you better than you know yourself. Here is the painful secret no one wants to look at. We all became afraid when we were younger and we stopped maturing. We are all frozen developmentally in childhood. We all have to heal from our wounds and begin to grow into men and women before we can discern our vocation. If you’re meant to be a husband you first must become a man. If you’re meant to be a priest and marry Christ then you must also first become a man. You need a Man to help guide and form you into a Man.

God blessed me with operating grace…I am a Catholic revert. When I believed in Jesus Christ as savior but didn’t believe RCC was His Church, He put in my heart to go to confession with a priest for grave sins I had already confessed directly to Him and I believe He completely forgave me. After months of constantly asking Jesus if that was really what He wanted from me, I finally booked a confession time. I made a full confession and was gifted with a vision of how God sees the world for 3 days. For three days all of nature and created things seemed to sing the glory of the Creator, humans were beautiful in dignity (the only thing that was ugly I noticed was a sarcastic show I used to watch all the time, I couldn’t stand it for even a few minutes as it seemed so ungrateful for all the beauty we have at our fingertips). Now I KNOW to my core that God wants me participating fully in communion with RCC and I KNOW that Confession with a priest confers graces we cannot imagine above and beyond forgiving us our wrongdoing. Praise be to God.

Confession is truly hard to do. It is absolutely nerve recking. However it is such a relief to go to confession. It’s like cleaning the house and taking out the garbage. That’s why when we party we want to create the least mess possible. I’m so grateful for Confession.

Hello. father ripperger, said we have obligations to our children our parents and our siblings under the fourth commandment using a binding prayer, two release Demons that have a hold of our family members. What about husband and wife? Could I use a binding in prayer to get my wife to go to confessions? Whatever Demon has a hold on my wife and believe she can receive the eucharist but not go to confessions Please help.
