Holkar Science College, officially Government Model Autonomous Holkar Science College,
also known as Holkar College is an educational institute in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
It was established on 10 June 1891 by His Highness Maharajadhiraja Raj Rajeshwar Sawai Shri Sir Shivaji Rao Holkar Bahadur XII, the erstwhile ruler of Indore belonging to the Holkar dynasty of the Marathas.

Holkar College campus is located in the South area of East Indore.
It is situated in an area between known as Bhanwar Kua which has a high concentration of cultural and academic institutions, including the Indore University, Indian Institute of Technology Indore, Central Museum, Institute of Management Studies, Cystal IT Park and the Kamla Nehru Zoological Park.
The Holkar College HSC has multiple halls throughout the campus along Indore BRTS and various lectures for science students are conducted within these halls, some major buildings are including the Main Building, Red Building, Yeshwant Hall and Chemistry Block Building.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE
ELIGIBILITY
For admission to B.Sc, candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education.
Candidates seeking admission to M.Sc must possess a graduate degree from a recognized university.
Selection of candidates for admission to B.Sc and M.Sc courses is done through Madhya Pradesh Higher education merit basis.
Admission to Ph.D. programs is based on marks scored in the Doctoral Entrance Test (DET) and interview.
Reservation is done according to the regulations provided by the Government of India.
PROCESS
The application process is online for the admission to courses offered by the college
Candidates are shortlisted for admission on the basis of performance of the candidate in the qualifying degree examination.
The final selection is done on the basis of the final merit list prepared by the college based on the candidate’s academic qualifications.
The shortlisted students should appear in person for the final admission while ensuring that all the required original documents are available for verification.
The admission will be confirmed only after completing all the required process inclusive of document verification and payment of a required fee.

There is no facility of girls hostel...and there are no campus placements. .. Also as far as cocurriculum activities are concerned. ..students do participate in many programs...and discipline wise clg is great... Great faculty.... Many assignment and practicals are required to be submitted which is time consuming...overall it is nor great neither less
