Thanks FB... another beautiful bucket list location on Lake Michigan. These places are so iconic in their own way, that they deserve a few days stay to just enjoy the atmosphere. I think it's great that you have a dinghy to get around in, once you arrive at such a location. I can see it makes the trip so much more diverse from the water side. Lake Michigan rarely is that calm. I wonder if that had something to do with the fisherman all getting their limits so early in the day. I suspect it did. Great places to eat, for sure. Would have been nice to see some of the views from the elevated boardwalk.😎 Gord

@FreebirdonTheGreatLoop Thanks FB. I enjoyed hearing of the davit issue from Ed and how it was resolved. These vessels are definitely two men operations for the exact reasons Ed stated. Yes, you can run it with just one person. But in this size vessel, it's just not safe enough. Someone needs to be at the helm at all times when the engines are running. Look at the cascading issues that happened just because the davit cable jumped the pulley. Fortunately the cable wasn't damaged. The davit hoist really needs a more fool proof cable guide, so that this doesn't happen so easily. Gord

That can't be Lake Michigan. Lake Michigan is never that flat. O_o Hello from central Michigan.

It is amazing the diifference between calm days and wild days! I lay down all the lamps and prepare just in case every time.

Have you ever replayed your YT videos? Your commentary is no more than a voice in the background (first half) when it should be the most understood sound. You have a beautiful voice. Let it shine.

Sorry about the background noise. There is a lot of noise from the boat and the wind when you are out there. We try the best we can to reduce that but sometimes we just can't.

@@FreebirdonTheGreatLoop Not trying to be negative but making you alert to when things aren't "up to snuff".

@@cestmoi1262 We looked it over and there are parts that the voices are quiet. Really only a small perecentage. I have a few programs that help but they are not perfect so you will notice there is music in part of it and no voices because those videos were not reparable. The noises of the engines on the boat and the wind noise are hard to compete with, even with a microphone. I have tried programs that supposedly remove the background noise but they do not seem to work. They make the voice cut in and out. Will keep trying. If you know of any tricks, please let me know.
