Abraham Lincoln at the beginning of the war wanted to keep the union together. He also said that he didn't want to abolish slavery where it existed. He Changes his ideals to abolish slavery after the battle of Antietam.

Actually.... Lincoln wasn't gonna outlaw slavery completely, but simply prevent it's expansion hoping that southern states would abolish it in time. Also there was huge mistrust between north and south. In the beggining it was balanced, but as compromises were held also free states appeared more making southern states feel opressed. Lincoln's precidency was the final straw

One mistake. Conference Started the Civil War, by attacking USA properties near their coastline. I think Conference attacjed somw forts with american soldiers something like that. So conference suppose to be red and usa blue.
