I'm an Englishman so the guys that are doing this film and the 4160 rebuild should get a Knighthood. I have a '79 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II with great big SU HIF7 carbs on them. They're crap. I grew up with my Dad owning Buicks in 1966 and trying to help stock car racing guys and he often talked about Holley carbs and always with the greatest respect. I run a '78 Cadillac Seville Elegante with an Olds 350 and (originally) that analogue fuel injection. My car, like many of these Sevilles had a carb conversion and a Holley 4160. Don't forget my American friends just how good these carbs are. Typically American of their day, used to be made with parts made by the lost wax casting process. I love them.

Nice...I like carb tear down videos... they are simple, but yet, not. Mixing air and fuel inn different ways for different running conditions... lots of jets and passageways, springs, check balls, levers and linkages..

Could you help me. I bought a new 1460 600cfm. I took out the 31 nozzle and two metal gaskets. Should their have been a metering rod underneath. I didn't see one when I reinstalled the 35 nozzle. Don't want to run it and later find it in combustion area. Thank you

Some advice please... I have a 4160 on my 283... List number says it flows 450cfm.. I've just picked up a 2300 and the list number says it flows 500cfm... My question is how does two small choke tubes flow better than four larger ones? Or am I missing something?
