I know this pronunciation is incorrect, but growing up I always called the packaged noodles 'roman' noodles, which I still prefer. If I'm going to a restaurant that serves ramen, it is 'raw-men' noodles.

I don't think I've ever heard someone pronounce it "ray-men" 😆But I do know it's supposed to be "rah-men" since it's deriving from the Japanese word. Unless it's Korean-style, then it's called ramyun/ramyeon.

I don’t do macros anymore but I just try to follow a high protein / balanced diet w/ lots of variety! ❤ there’s TONS of certified people out there though that CAN help you calculate your macros if that’s what you’re looking for! 🫶🏼

"Ray-men" must be a southern thing lol my husband says it like that too. Even though we are from the same area, my mom never wanted us to sound "like hicks" so she would always correct us 🙄 but i LOVE the twang of the southern accent and thanks to being around my husband's family, I've picked up on some of the words they say and how the say them lol I went to Cali to Disneyland at the beginning of the year and I got asked multiple times where i was from lol
