My story about your Dad is that I might be the only person to ever have yelled at your Dad, "Cum Oan Colin - Haway ferra Boyzzz!" That was in Sweden in 2003 when they had just replaced the rubbed off back bumper on his Xsara with one that was only slightly less rubbed off on snow banks 😂 I was rewarded with him stopping in his tracks, turning round as if to say, "who on earth let this one outta Glesga!" and got a grin for ma See You Jimmy Hat 👍😀. That made up for aw the times I wiz greetin cuz he'd pit it aff the road 😂. Thanks again. I only hope you keep enjoying rallying 👍👍Big Love.

Great video. So glad your job following your dad's sport. I saw him at a pre-stage of the british rally in the forest by Builth Wells. I was on my mountain bike absolutely covered in mud! He looked straight at me and gave me his broadest smile.. always remember that!

Having spent many of my formative years chasing Hollie's grandad around various parts of the UK as both a rally offical and competitor, then watching her father begin his winning streak I really just wanted to comment on how great it is to have a McRae bring us the enjoyment of rallying again. I was once stood next to Juha Kankkunen, Miki Biasion, and Colin McRae at the beginning of the RAC rally, probably early 90's, before Colin was winning everything. I said to Juha, "I hope you are going to let Colin win this one", Juha replied as quick as you like "Colin who?" Those of us who took part in rallys of that era still have fond memories of the McRae dynasty. Thanks Hollie for keeping those memories alive.

What an inspired addition to Team Dirtfish Hollie Is may all benefit equally from this move into a bright future Looking forward to Dirtfish WRC 2024 and all the insights and fresh take on things that Hollie will bring with not just a uniquebfamily connection with the sport but from the viewpoint of somebody who also started a career in a different field . Having been involved since the 1970's with this form of motorsport as well as other forms on both two and four wheels and with every level of competitor including in my case working with Factory Teams in many forms of motorsport as well as private teams and individuals this sport caters for all at some level unlike some sports where deep pockets as well as connections are required, Rallying can be anything to anyone but remains accessable which is what matters
