That's the most beautiful version of Memory that I ever heard in my life. She shows hand motions & even moves around the stage with lots of confidence.

I like the change of key when she sings the "Burnt out ends of smoky days" part -- it reminds me of Jemima/Sillabub in the musical when Grizabella is singing the song.

@creatip123 This concert was recorded on a Sony EX1 with an external stereo microphone that, unknown to myself at the time, malfunctioned with the result being only half of the audio being recorded.

When I was her age I loved older or classic songs more than I liked anything new. Maybe she picks her songs.

@magnetstoo I believe her first appearance on BGT (I could have danced all night) was remastered by top-class producers and that's why it sounded so well. She's on a long track of growing up as a powerful singer, fortunately, she's on the right track. I think there were a few things that I would have liked to have been better performed vocally, but, a nice performance of the song and sung with charisma.

Did she go to a performing arts school? Her higher octave is her best and most impressive!

@georgivelev77 This was shot (and audio-recorded) with a handycam, right? Handycam's audio would never ever sound right, let alone in the theater, with all the reverbs, the echoes, and whatnot.... Having said that, I'd very much like to hear this same song, recorded professionally, with proper recording gears. Must be amazing....

Sounds like she is holding back....do they not do a sound check? I think one of her best performances was on BGT...professionals doing the sound ....She danced ..she sang....she loved it....she awed the crowd....and that is the music and style she likes I believe....musicals!....Who made her sing "Edelvice" (or however it's spelled)

@ Jim Hultman I absolutely agree with you. To me Hollie spends way to much swallowing when she shouldn't and when she swallows that much, it cut her notes off. But she is a beautiful singer and she did a beautiful job

She doesn't know anything about memories - the sort in this song.

Huh? What a weird comment....

Why do people keep giving her such 'old' songs to sing? She's too young for their pathos.
