Hollong Tourist lodge in Dooars gutted; no casualties
THW Report
The government-owned Hollong Tourist Lodge, also known as the Hollong Bungalow, in the Jaldapara National Park in the Dooars was gutted in a massive fire at around 9.30 pm on Tuesday.
While there were no immediate reports of casualties, sources said officials are yet to ascertain the cause of the fire.
As the Jaldapara National Park remains closed during the rainy season, there were no tourists in the Bungalow when the incident occurred today.
Sources said the park is shut for tourists from 16 June to 15 September this year.
The area falls under the Madarihat Block in Alipurduar district.

I think this was pre-medidated, preplanned accident. The bungalow was too old and to get insurance money, the insiders have done this burning. Hope West Bengal Tourism will reconstruct a new modern bungalow soon.
Increíble final 😱
