Hi, these are beautiful! The blossoming flower you made is my favourite. How did you attach the chain on the inside of it? And were these used as decorations or as jewellery? Thank you ❤

Holy cow, this works beautifully! It took me a couple tries on each step of the way (except the baking) and my beads look gorgeous! I tried both Fimo and Pardo translucent clay and liked the result using the Pardo much more.

wow, just wow! I'm so impressed! So you cover the homemade clay with translucent when it's wet and it doesn't become hard when you bake it? I wouldn't have guessed that. and then it comes off in contact with water? amazing technique

It gets hard but when you soak it in water it dissolves. It's just cornstarch and water mixed well in a saucepan & cooked.

Merci Sandrarte pour cette vidéo ! J'ai essayé ce tuto qui me fait envie depuis très longtemps. A la cuisson, ça craque et je me demande à quelle épaisseur est la pardo parce que je n'obtiens pas une transparence comme vous. Merci

Thank you for sharing your video. Loved the combination of the translucent clays and inks. May I ask you what you mixed with your corn starch? Did you bake the cornstarch bead? Or did you let the bead air dry then add the clay to the bead ? I love this technique!
@iSugarHeart
@iSugarHeart 7 жыл бұрын
She mixed water with cornstarch boiled it on the stove until it became thick and sticky , she let it cool a bit before working with it , then while it was still not dry she put clay on it and molded the flower then baked all of it in the oven , because starch shrinks as it dries it unnatached from sides of fimo flower and then she washed it out =)

@iSuga rHeart Thank you for clarifying this. I had seen another jewelry item that I knew had to be made using something that dissolved after baking. I just made some using a little more than 1/2 c. water, & rounded 1/2 c. cornstarch. Kinda lumpy but will work it some.

I had never tried Pardo clay before, so I ordered some after viewing this and other videos. It is true that Pardo has a very translucent quality when baked. But it has black spots, grains about the size of table pepper that show up after baking. It is not something ON the clay...it is in the body of the clay. Fimo isn't quite as translucent, but it also doesn't have the black constellations that showed up in the Pardo. Again, this was a block ordered over the web, it was therefore shipped, and seems to have dried out from sitting in a hot truck, or was older clay... it is quite crumbly for a new block of polyform. This is from my own experience...opinions may very. \\][//
