Hollow Knight Randomizer But Its Truly Random

I noticed an interesting Hollow Knight Randomizer setting that I had never tried before, the No Logic setting. This means that items are truly random and are not guaranteed to even be possible to collect. So lets hope the RNG works out and see how it goes.

you should play rain world, it’s great for fans of: - survival - exploration - light 2d platforming - lots of movement techs if you’re willing to learn them - lizards - skewering lizards with spears - deep lore hidden throughout the game (very difficult to get it all, i’ve only bothered to get a little, but it’s good lore) - pretty pixel art - *suffering* - cute slugcat

@@nirisu6954 yeah, i think rain world’s biggest flaw is its lack of direction for new players; i imagine i would have similar problems as you with it if i didn’t have a couple friends helping me when necessary. it can be a confusing game! that being said, if you ever want to consider giving it another try, i’ve provided some tips. don’t feel pressured to play rain world again, though; it’s alright if that ship has sailed. still, here are my tips: - rain world’s ecosystem is pretty unique, i don’t know of any other game like it. it doesn’t just have “good creatures” that help you and “bad creatures” that hurt you. instead, all creatures interact with each other, and you’re only one part of a complex food web. understanding this is essential. it’s possible to make allies out of enemies or vice versa, and there are a lot of mechanics you can leverage. - creatures don’t just have fixed or randomized positions when you enter a room. every creature in a region is constantly moving around and doing things, whether or not you can see them. - rain world has a _lot_ of features and mechanics, and it really wants you to figure out most things for yourself. this can be very rewarding, but it also leads to a lot of trial and error and a lot of deaths. don’t be afraid to look things up if you get stuck. for example, the little yellow thing that keeps following you is supposed to guide you to where you’re supposed to go, but it’s really not very good at it, and it’s all too easy to get lost. don’t be afraid to ask someone or look up which regions you’re supposed to go to in what order; i can even tell you, if you ask.

The only thing that could make this skin better is if it flashed through the karma symbols in the soul meter the more soul you got. I also think a Sliver of Straw skin would work well, you could use Saint's ascension effect as well as her Challenge 70 attacks for the spells in addition to what Pebbles' skin has

I know the KZbin format incentivizes doing something new with each video to keep things fresh, and I do love all the interesting variations on randomizers, but honestly, the nature of randomizers by default means I’d be more than happy to watch a ton of them with identical “boring” settings. The excitement of having to check absolutely everything while still thinking it might be imposible was great and it took all my skipping skills and the tips I 've gotten from you and other speedrunners.
