you can continue playing; the dlc is not needed to complete the main quest and you will be able to acceed it at any point in the game however it might fix some minor issues from the game that you won't be able to do again if you already have unless you load another file, but these are really minor like adding 1-2 patterns to a boss, changing slihgtly some environnment, adding a small NPC, etc... nothing really worth loading a new file for, when you look at how big the game is

oh yeah I beated the mantis lords in the late game during my first run, it just took me a couples of tries to get it right, but then I tried to challenge them /w base nail for fun and I got uterly destroid, took me at least 10 tries x) that was really fun tho I'm not really good at most games but I found this one really balanced, there was just enough challenge to not get bored or too frustrated, even if trial of fool was super hard and the white palace sucked really hype for this second DLC tho, I wonder what the ennemies, bosses and charms will do?!

Wow. I think that hollow knight will be one of those games that is continuously and forever enhanced over time. I seriously think that a sequel/prequel to this game taking place in a different kingdom, that could directly or indirectly involve hallownest in some way would be a very good idea. Could use the same character, a character that has nothing to do with the knight or a character that has to do in some manner with the knight. That would be exquisite if i do say so myself. Anyway, congratulations team cherry! An amazing game. I look forward to playing it. Congratulations from Brazil. Two to Three years of work on something like this could seriously pay off. Well done!
