@@tobiastroyer9972 Just keep on practicing the bosses of p2 in the hall of gods until you can beat them all with a minimal amount of damage. That's what I did, it took me some time, but in the end it worked!

It shouldnt be understated how powerful nail arts for especially the charm binding. Going through P5 takes a long time without charms, but including nail arts can speed up that process a lot. Just think about how many moves in this game are telegraphed in where the enemy will be at the end of it, usually giving you a nice window of setting up a cyclone slash.

Charm builds I used/recommend for each binding: Nail: Shaman Stone, Soul Catcher, Soul Eater, Spell Twister - Using as many spells as possible is key Soul: Quick Slash, Unbreakable Strength, Nailmaster’s Glory, Longnail, Mark of Pride - Spam nail attacks at range, use soul only to heal Mask: Grubberfly’s Elegy, Quick Slash, Fury of the Fallen, Unbreakable Strength - Be aggressive, because of the limited health Grubberfly’s Elegy and Fury of the Fallen will be active much more often Charms: None All Bindings (haven’t done it yet): None as it includes the charm binding

I would also say that quick focus is huge for the soul binding as not being able to stock up on soul makes it pretty hard to heal most the time. It’s how I beat the soul binding.

I have just recently beaten the Pantheon of Hallownest with each binding and got my Weathered mask from the Land of Storms and I got to say that the video is pretty useful especially for those considering doing the same. Great tips and advice. Definitely worth watching.

Managed to at least complete all the bindings on the first 3 Pantheons. Pantheon of the Knight and Hallownest are definitely the harder ones to complete. Pure Vessel just does so much damage. I almost have him with the nail binding, but probably couple more tries I should be able to get him there at least.

While playing on soul binding i actualy prefer having liveblood core & hearth as replacment for hiveblood & sprintmaster. This solution gives you 6 blue masks + obviously 5 more on each bench. Just a suggestion :) still great video

I think you mean Lifeblood Heart, but imo I think that Fragile/Unbreakable heart is better because you get 2 more masks that you can still heal.

For pantheon 3 bindings hiveblood was a godsend. It forced me to take less damage, and take my timeso I could get health back.

Here's a tip that helped me get past the collector with the nail binding. I equipped fury of the fallen and unbreakable strength at the bench after the Sisters of Battle. Then in the Paintmaster Sheo fight I only used my nail and hit him exactly 47 times, then damage tanked down to 1 HP, then killed him with a single shade soul. I got the lifeblood at the bench and didn't heal. I then fought Hive Knight, Elder Hu, and The Collector with just the lifeblood. Then I healed back up, and took off fury of the fallen at the next bench. This allowed me to one hit kill the enemies and play The Collector fight like normal. This won't work for the charm binding though 😢.

Hi, just managed to get to the land of storms about 20 minutes ago, been trying on and off this game for about 3 years now. I personally did it Soul (with a nail build), Shell (with a lot of lifeblood), Nail, (with a spell build and dash slash), and Charm, (with the vast majority of the 3 years). I personally did find Collector fairly easy when using nail arts and Markoth, whilst super annoying, was easy with a certain setup; full soul meter and 10 great slashes, wait till he spins his shield, then spam ALL of your spells and it basically skips his phase 2. Also, I actually made an entire second save file specifically to banish the Grimm Troupe (to get Carefree melody instead of Grimmchild which sometimes blocks damage) and to neglect Zote and let him die to the Vengefly (so there's no Great Prince Zote). I'd say overall that the boss I had the most difficulty with was either the Oblobbles (before you focus on one and kill it) or Absolute Radiance (for obvious reasons).

Alternate tip: Just don’t do it, doing the bindings is a very tedious and arduous process. You don’t really get much out of it and understanding the lore is pretty much already filled. Alternatively the reason you should do it is for that sense of accomplishment

My tips is that for shell binding replace your 2 notch charm with unbreakable heart if it isn't it just so radiance doesn't 2ko you. Nail is easy just play spell build. Soul you just use a nail build and hopefully you're good enough to dodge at this point if you're doing p5 to where constant healing isn't a problem. For charms you just play without a crutch but nail arts are super super SUPER useful against collector I can't stress enough on how correct relyea is on that statement. Nail arts go through markoth's shield and do more damage than you think and can clear collector's jars easily I was able to beat p3 AB collector without getting hit just because nothing could spawn because of nail arts. Even though hiveblood sounds good in theory for soul binding I wouldn't recommend it as hiveblood is just too expensive for what it's worth and you can use nail lengthening charms to just stay safe .

The only way to unlock pure vessel is to reach that boss at the end of P4. If you are not able to start P4 it means that you either did not complete P1-3 Or you are missing a different boss. If you are missing a different boss, best bet is to look up P4 on the hollow knight wiki, Look up all the different bosses in that pantheon and any boss you have never seen before, look up where to find them.

To open the door to the radiance you need to encounter the absolute radiance once in the 5th pantheon (last boss). If you are missing bosses in the Hall of gods it is because you have not found them in the base game yet.

If you can beat all the bosses ascended you should be good to go. Just go through P5 and any boss that beats you, practice that one in Hall of Gods until you are unstoppable. Then go again until you beat absolute radiance.

This is just my opinion for training for the bindings: Practice against the bosses like you do in the pantheons. Example: Do no charms for Ascend Nail Brothers as practice for an all bindings 1st Pantheon run
