Hollow Knight: Trial of Fools Perfect, Nail Only

No gimmicks, just 8 mins of dodging and nail slashing.
Charm setup:
-Mark of Pride
-Longnail
-Quick Slash
-Steady Body
-Nailmaster's Glory
Hardest part of doing this? Not accidentally using the spin splash and wrecking your run. :P
IMO they should really give you an option to disable it, or at least change its input.

A suggestion of Xbox controller button remapping: use RB for nail arts AND keep X for normal attacks. Currently it's so awkward to great slash in the air because a thumb has to manage two buttons simultaneously. I just switched RB and X and found the trial of fools a lot easier. But I still wish to use X for normal attacks. (Why RB for quick cast? I can't find any use in it.)

Definitely keyboard. On controller, (atleast on my dualshock 4) the controls are pretty good, but if you want to charge up your nail, you have to hold the attack button, while also mashing others buttons to... y'know.. play the video game

I’m nearly speechless... I know you are amazing at this game, but even given that, it must have taken months of dedication to memorize the actual fight sequence in order to handle it so flawlessly... I watch KZbin to laugh and see cool stuff... but having attempted and failed this trial more times than I can count, you have actually inspired me... I will NEVER be able to flawlessly beat it, it knowing there is someone that can, makes me believe that I can at least soldier through and sloppily complete it, if only once.

The Colosseum of fools will be even great if the spectators in that colosseum were to go wild(stomping, tossing of clothes, flowers, even their masks, etc..) as they acknowledge the player's deft and dexterous moves while challenging each wave, or a feedback for every move made by the player. This should encourage players to pull off more challenging and deft maneuvers. Sick battle btw!! 😀😎
