I am so glad you are back Noah! What an awesome first video after your trip! That baby ring neck was so cute, and you helped bring that into the world! So cool! The rattlesnakes were awesome as well. I can’t wait to see more of them and to see the other mommas and their babies! I really appreciate all the time and effort you put in to bring us snakes and other herps! I wish I could do more to show my appreciation! You are one of my favorite KZbinrs Noah! Thank you for being you!!! 😄💙🐬🐍🐊🫶🏼

Very cool episode. Back about 1976, I found a baby ringneck under a log behind the school in Gulf Breeze Fla. that was albino. Dig the hatchling season. I still need to catch up on the Japanese jaunt...

8:10 The fact the momma rattlers head turned when you said “the babies” is immaculate timing.

Fantastic video! Seeing that mom protect her babies had me tearin up. ❤ She wasn’t making noise but she certainly was watching 👀👀 😂 No Timbers where I’m from but what an amazing snake they are. I’ve grown up my entire life with Western Rattlesnakes and they are also stunning. I’ve seen them bright almost fluorescent green before.

Returned to the usual places and species. Nice mother rattlesnake with the young. In the back of my head, I imagine how terrifying it would be if you were to stick your hand inside this log. Also nice hatching of the ringneck snake, even if the rest of the nest wasn’t successful. I am sure that if the frog has been hit by a car, it won’t survive.

I live in South Georgia and the other night my wife and I were riding dirt roads and I saw the biggest copperhead I have ever seen. At least 3-3&1/2 feet long and as thick as a mag light

Would You be so good as to mention about when or what part of the year various snakes tend to hatch? I'm watching to learn about snakes as transplant to the South.

Thank you for the wonderful Japan series.. That log with mom and babies was wild!.. Do the mom snakes protect their babies with a possible bite rather than a retreat that most snakes do when you come across them?

Not about snakes but can relate to the eggs being snatched. An orb weaver spider has been in the same spot for months and has three egg clutches. I just saw her last night. Today, went outside, her web was destroyed and she was nowhere to be found. Dunno what happened. I feel like my spider has been snatched away too. I looked around, did not locate her. I would definitely recognize her!

Glad you are back Noah! And thank you so much for all your videos. They have inspired me to start snake hunting around my area, though I must say I'm not near as successful as you are in finding them. But your videos encourage me to keep at it and keep learning. Thank you so much for doing what you do so well!
