Be careful if you do The Crimson Fleet storyline. There’s a massive bug that is game breaking in the Echos from the Past quest. At the time of this comment, only PC has a fix for it and the fix requires you to type in the cheat “killall” just to progress. This disables achievements. Otherwise you need to load a save from before you started the quest and avoid doing it until it’s fixed. I suggest steering clear of doing Crimson Fleet missions until this issue is resolved. I’ve only experienced minor bugs throughout the game other than this major one.

I finished the quests of that prison ship today. It took me a whole day but it was definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend to continue the quests of the crimson fleet as I really liked the story.

Theres 2 weapon vendors in the city akira and 2 uc vendors in new atlantis 1 is in the well . Theres stores everywhere in this game but i do understand it can be overwhelming

I believe the whole idea of not having a map to show where things are is for complete learning. Understand how big this game is, I am not apposed to not show all of these things. And if this game would hit online shooter and game play rurning bounty hunter finding someone should be as hard as possible. But that just my opinion.

You can store your stuff with companions, ship etc. Modders will probably come up with some excellent inventory mod, local maps etc pretty soon.

Ratings are based on personal preferences. I like the open world concept, go wherever, whenever I want, and the ship determines if it can, i.e. too small, not enough fuel. I like the immersive nature of games, I would like to see hunger, fatigue, freezing, and overheating in this game. I like to build, mine, gather material for sale or upgrades. I don't like the amount of fire-fights, use the environment also, If possible I would cut the fire-fights in half and concentrate on building, mining and agriculture.

You can fly to planets but it will take you a VERY long time. It took Alanah P 7 hrs to fly to Pluto so I'm glad for the fast travel system.

Why buy a ship. Build your ship. I took my ship, and built it up. 30k credits, and my ship is like 4x the size of your one. You can start to get lost in it. The hardest part is getting the power to mass ratio on point.

You can travel between planets in a system. It just takes a very long time. For instance, the distance from Earth to Mars is about 7 months.

there’s a video out recently showing how much no man’s sky has improved and is very good now. Multiplayer (which Starfield lacks), lots of modes options, missions, lots of bosses and huge monsters (which Starfield seems to lack) seamless travel ( which Starfield lacks). All those updates have been free over the years and they are still adding them. The consensus is that no man’s sky is very good, these days and looks amazing, too. And it’s a much smaller developer team than Bethesda. Starfield is also high quality, but was also hyped up so much, and couldn’t meet its promise and potential. In this case, modders will fix some of the problems .

well, turns out, you can fly them, if you are ready to spend hrs upon hrs. just trying to get to, lets say, from earth to mars, that being said, all bgs needs to do is increase the ship speed, and we are golden, cause there is no loading screen or anything

I've got well over some 7,000 hour's over the past few year's envolved in playing Elite Dangerous. I did some rough figuring and about half of my total time is flying in space from here to there and everywhere. Do the math, I'd rather have spent 3,500 hour's doing what I do in SF. This is my first Bethesda game, thus the learning curve in addition to my age (74) is a bit daughting. You stated 20 hour's, I've got more than a 100 some third of that was only doing the darn intro mission. Unlike Star Citizen, I won't be seeing you in the dark, but as they say in ED, watch your six.
