so is the tuning C G D G B E or the Open C tuning C G C G C E?

That's a good question. In the original I have no idea, here I play on "normal" tuning, with 5th and 6th tuned down to G and C. On the original maybe it's open C tuning? I never tried to play in that (first time I've heard of it it's... now, in this comment).
