this song got me through so much when i entered high school. the stresses of the world and the pressure i put on myself, from my parents and what i felt God was putting on me to live a "whole life up ahead of me✨" was too great for a ninth grader to handle. i've always been very reflective and introspective, but nobody sees the rich beauty and struggles that lie within your heart and mind. so when i would get overwhelmed, i would turn off the lights, lie down on my bed and just let this song say exactly what my soul was feeling at the time. i rediscovered this song yesterday and it was like an embrace from a loving friend. thank you so much hollyn for your beautiful music, you creative soul also hollyn if you're reading this, you might not remember me but i was that kid who approached you by singing "Hola" while you were meeting vips at a concert you opened for in 2019 😭. we didn't have vip tickets but my dad negotiated somehow to see you because you inspired me so much (੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭* :･ﾟ♡
