I remember watching that storyline, what they did to esther was horrendous and got to the point where she almost took her own life, ruby was her own cousin which makes what she did even worse, ruby only owned up because of esther ending up in hospital, if that didn't happen, who knows how long the bullying would have continued, and i was so glad to see sinead get caught, been all nice to diane saying she had nothing to do with it, never liked her from the moment she came into it, dopey diane at the end sticking up for sinead saying maddie and the rest coerced her into it, knowing full well she was one of the ring leaders

I hated how the headteacher at the time handled it and gaslighted Esther into thinking she'd brought it all on herself. Then when Esther ended up in hospital, had the nerve to say that it wasn't the school's fault. I think it was so awful that it took for Esther trying to commit $u!c!d€ for Ruby to finally realise the enormity of what her, Sinead and Maddie, (although by then deceased, she was the ring leader), had done. It would've been even worse for her and Sinead if Esther had of d!€d. Also, I hated when Diane convinced Sinead to say it was solely Ruby who bullied Esther. When Diane did that class on anti-bullying, she should've seen from the way that Esther was behaving that she was being bullied. The school did a whole campaign on anti-bullying, but failed to follow through when one of their students was being severely bullied. I loved how Phoebe and George stood by Esther and berated the headteacher for his handling of the situation. This was a very good storyline - one of my favourites. I feel that a lot of schools don't do enough when students are being bullied. It's all well and good doing all these assemblies and campaigns on it, but you don't see any of it being put into practice when it's required.

I remember this storyline. It was so sad, and sort of relatable. Just shows what some may see as small or insignificant can really hurt someone, and with how continuous it was I'm not surprised how it almost ended her life.

Not really. She may have got the truth out of sinead in private but she then tried to cover up her mistakes in public and blame others in a way to excuse her daughter's vile behaviour. Frankie's response to ruby shocked me. Ruby got away so lightly and forgiven so easily.

Felt so sorry for Esther. I can relate to her as I was bullied all the way through school and college. I've also been a bully, but never this bad.

I respect ruby for standing up and realising. To alot of people it takes a really bad thing to realise what they did. Its crap she only realised when esther was on deaths door, but she still did. Personally id never forgive like esther did but admitting what you did bad is the first step to redemption. None the less i still feel for esther. I know what that feels like. But im into psychology and stuff so i like to think of the thought processes of everyone in that situation. Its interesting. Their behavious can be based off either being scared of someone (ruby being scared of sinead) or just being downright evil (like maddy) Ps. Maddy's actress absolutely smashed the evil bully role. Creds to all the actors and actresses in this storyline. They perfectly depicted bullying and not even as a clichè, they went FULL ON!
