JaguarRider I wasn't thinking about it until you mentioned Mac because the flashback did show that Mac tricked by trying to get James to pay Mac a huge amount of money but he couldn't afford it so the only idea he had was to set Kishaf up. And I still doubt that Kishaf's really dead! That letter was probably fake so maybe someone else got him out of prison and maybe Misbah payed him to leave Hollyoaks because she said he wasn't a good Man! I mean THIS IS HOLLYOAKS FOR GOD SAKE THERE'S ALWAYS A TWIST IN THIS SHOW!!!!!!!! Plus it'll be like the whole Darcy storyline all over again. 😣😫😤😠😡

@@ChelseyLinden Mac & Marnie may have tricked James but in the end, James made the decision to commit a crime and frame an innocent man just to impress Mac, nobody forced him, it was him and him alone, he wasn't even sorry. And Kashif is dead, it'd be lazy writing if he is still alive, he was facing a long prison sentence so Misbah paying him off seems farfetched and I'm sure Misbah would've called him back once she found out he's innocent.

This kid has some serious deep mental health issues he is at a constant battle with himself which people like his loved ones are caught up in the crossfire, if you keep making excuses for domestic abuse like this then you’ll have a never ending cycle with you as the prey and your child that came out of you as the predator now what sort of life is that? 🙄

I'm glad Sami now sees his vendetta against James was wrong - I understand his anger towards James for framing his Dad for something he didn't do but he could have chosen to avoid him. In some ways him choosing to beat up James Nightingale and then choosing to frame him for a non existent murder was much worse than Imran lashing out at Misbah and Yasmine in anger although he went too far when he beat up Ste as that was premeditated and he would have had to face the consequences for that anyway even if the domestic violence hadn't come out. If he had agreed to see a counsellor when Misbah tried to arrange counselling for him maybe things would not have escalated to this level. I am sorry for him as we know the accident triggered his issues and his immediate remorse whenever he is violent does seem genuine.
6 жыл бұрын
How is beating & framing a guy that took away your father worse than abusing your own loving mother & sister? If a man that framed your father which drove him to suicide was living in your area, are you gonna be alright with it as you expect Sami should be?
@98slbrookes986 жыл бұрын
@ Of course it's not alright that James got away with what he did but Sami had two options - either report James to the police and press charges or avoid/ignore him. Why risk his career and freedom for revenge? Also Sami attacking James was planned while Imran lashing out at his mother and sister was hat of the moment after some kind of trigger. I accept that what Imran did to Ste was premeditated but his anger issues stem back to the accident. Sami had the option of staying away from James or moving away from the area James lived in and he took neither option. His family begged him to drop the vendetta but he didn't. Sami cannot stop James living in the area if he cannot prove what he did so ignoring and avoiding him is the best option. Revenge is never the answer. And what about poor Kyle? Made to stay away from a certain place just because Sami wants to pretend James killed him.
@98slbrookes986 жыл бұрын
@ If Sami got justice the right way I would understand but beating James up and framing him for a murder that never happened was all about revenge. It wouldn't have brought his father back and nor would his father have agreed with it. Staying away from the person who harmed a relative and never seeing/interacting with them makes more sense than seeking revenge on them. As regards Imran, obviously what he did was wrong and Misbah and Yasmine definitely didn't deserve to be victims of domestic violence but he eventually did the right thing and told the police the truth and the CPS chose not to press charges in that instance as throwing Imran in prison would solve nothing - he needed anger management and professional help given that his violent tendencies stemmed from the accident and that's exactly what he was given thanks to Sami arguing his case.
@98slbrookes986 жыл бұрын
@ Only if you let it eat you up. He could have chosen to focus on those still alive and live his own life instead of risking his career and freedom for revenge. Sami would never have got away with it - sooner or later someone would have seen Kyle alive and well and reported Sami to the police just like Harry did. I agree that James should have faced the consequences for what he did - yes he should be in prison but for something he actually did not for something he didn't do. An eye for an eye is not such a great thing. It would never end.
@98slbrookes986 жыл бұрын
@ Obviously yes I would be angry but if I didn't have the evidence to bring the man to trial then I would focus on my own life and ignore/avoid him as much as possible. I don't believe in revenge and wouldn't risk my freedom or career - nobody is allowed to take the law into their own hands and it doesn't solve anything either. Sami's duty is now to the living. He can always remember and love his father, but he should focus onlooking after his siblings and making a life of his own - it's not up to him to punish James. It's up to the law and if the law can't then, he should move on.

Sami isnt innocent either; he tried to frame James for murder
@alexandratoke13946 жыл бұрын
Imran needs to be punished but Sami is being a hypocrite when it comes to doing something twisted. Sami wasn't forced to do what he did to James at all, James was forced by Mac to frame Sami's father.. both men were victims of Mac either way and James' actions whilst awful aren't without reason, at the end of the day, he grew up being treated like less than shit by Mac and abused so it isn't surprising that he does hurtful things, none of it justified but still explicable. James only knows pain because he felt it and only knows to inflict pain because that's how he was taught by example of his asshole father.
@alexandratoke13946 жыл бұрын
@ i'm not specifically a James fan but I'm saying that if Mac had treated James differently then James probably wouldn't be doing such a messed up, damaged person. He didn't just wake up like that. Mac is also smart if you haven't noticed. He doesn't need to physically to force or leave a trace of him forcing James, he has mentally broken him down. Mac knows how to play people. Also as for the Harry thing and the mothers, James shouldn't have done it, it wasn't right and he had no business doing it but when I look at him, I see him trying not to be his dad but the more he lies to himself, the more he hurts people the way Mac would. Children are a reflection of how they were raised and the environment they grew up in, James' was a shitty one. But that's no excuse for what he has done, I'm just saying it isn't inexplicable
@alexandratoke13946 жыл бұрын
@ not everyone reacts the same to a shitty childhood, and i didnt mean to imply that it is all mac's fault.. i am saying that your childhood has an impact on your present and your future.. james isn't excused by it, he knows right and wrong, he isn't sorry for things but there are things that he is sorry for. Don't paint everyone by the same brush, you can have the best life and end up messed up, a shit life and end up grown and wonderful or have the best life and be happy or have a shit life and feel shit... Everyone reacts differently consciously and unconsciously
@alexandratoke13946 жыл бұрын
@ I literally just said that James' upbringing is a factor but not an excuse! He has done awful things and Sami whilst within his right to be angry, became just as bad as James. Both of them play dirty and neither of them are in a position to give moral advice at all. And James didn't wake up heartless, there is only so much shit a person can take and everyone acts differently, James chose to shut off. Also, I never meant to suggest I excuse his behaviour, I said it is explicable. Nothing happens without reason, but that doesn't mean that what happened is always forgivable
6 жыл бұрын
@@alexandratoke1394 You brought Mac up to excuse James's actions in your original comment. James played dirty for his own selfish needs while Sami did it to avenge his dad. Some people are just plain selfish & heartless, James chose that route, bad childhood or not, he's aware of the effect his actions have and shows no remorse, Sami & Kyle keep getting reminded about what they did but what James did is ignored, he's being treated like a victim when the real victims are Maalik family.
@alexandratoke13946 жыл бұрын
@ and in my original comment, I said it wasn't justified regardless of his upbringing like I have said many times. I am saying it's understandable why James is how he is, not that it is an excuse. I agree the Maaliks are victims of James, just as James is a victim of Mac. Sami and James both made conscious choices to hurt each other. Sami's actions were understandable. James' state of mind is understandable. Just because something can be justified or understandable, it doesn't make it right.
