Oh no, teaming up with Ward is not a good idea. You can take a look at Stalker's lore even without playing the first parts to understand that Ward are always the BAD guys here) And about Monolith: the only Monolithian guy you talked to was a good person who helped to save someone's life. Not sure why you said that they are bad ones. Anyway, thank you for the playthrough, I really enjoy it!

Ward is a new faction in Stalker 2. They weren't around in the previous games. And Monolith IS bad. They're one of the main enemies in the previous games. Only now after the wish granter was destroyed, are some of them okay. Many of them are still bad.

I went for ward cause at some point sircaa promised me a new home in the mainland. I felt it was more in character going for this option. After all, skif says "this artifact owes me a home" in the very beginning.

Hi Holly, this game seems awesome. I'm a little jealous as I only have PS4. Are you playing a Pre ordered deluxe version? If so, you need to do a side mission called Seek, And You Shall Find. Which is available after A Needle in a Haystack main mission. Once these two are done you will be given locations to special weapons. Great playthrough and good luck. Edit: For a top tier weapon, head a little NW of home base to Wild Islands. At the top of the big island ( north of the huge factory, near the barge ) is a compound with barrels. Check on top of the barrels. 🙂

I did buy the deluxe version! Not so much for the loot though, more to support the devs so I haven't really bothered trying to find the freebie goodies but it's good to know, thank you!

The way to get the bald Stalker is/was to show him the gun from one of his man (the "Spitter" SMG) and tell him that the guy you rescued was out for revenge.

35:00...the Bloodsucker fight, with you on the wagon. This is a bug that GSC is aware of. AI spawns are broken and A-Life is not yet implemented. On top of that, all mutants are bullet sponges. Apparently, there's a patch some time next week but I don't have a clue what's in it.

The patch will be interesting but as far as AI life goes, I imagine that's a long road to a "fix" but it would be cool to see more immersive AI, the games incredible and that's one of the only things letting it down imo

Plz Holly for Gods sake install the less health for bloodsuckers mod. It is ridiciulous how tanky they are in this game. In the first one one magazine was more than enough. I dont know why GSC cranked up their health so much, they are deadly anyway due to speed and invisibility.

I've decided to go through this playthrough vanilla to see what the intended gameplay is like before I add mods! I'm not a fan of the bullet sponge blood suckers but I also find way too many bullets so it's nice to have something to use them on ahah!
