It doesn't matter what country is it, people are really obsessed with the toxic love stories. The girl couldn't move on from her past love then got involved with a good guy, most probably used him as a sort of emotional punching bag, met with her old flame and cheated on the current bf with the old lover. The army guy did the right thing, he didn't beg for her to stay. Hope he lived a more fulfilling life than these two.
