That is identical to the 79 I bought new. It will do way more than 90 mph. I had mine calibrated and at 60 I was actually doing 66. I had mine up to 96 indicated so I'm pretty sure I broke 100. It was by far the most reliable , enjoyable ,fun motorcycle I have ever owned.The best gas mileage I did was over 60,I think it was 66,but I went up 1 tooth on the front sprocket and 4.00×18 rear and 3.50×18 front tires.It was a great interstate bike but the seat sucked for riding more than 1 hour.

I have a Z250 of the same era. I use it off road because it only cost me $250. Maybe I should tidy it up and look after it. It's a good little bike.
