I think it's more than just expressing gratitude, her entire framework of herself and the world she lives in is skewed. No one, I am positive, ever told her to APOLOGISE for her 'blessings', or to be 'SORRY' for her gifts. The thing is, life's value is not in its entirety wealth, appearance and fame, and that's what she appears to be saying with that kind of statement - yeah, I have it all, AND?? You're all jealous of me and why should I have to say sorry. I doubt anyone ever told her to be sorry about her good fortune. Her attitude is adversarial, combative and very distasteful because it's so arrogant in supposing everyone wishes her ill and wants her to be sorry. I understand these people aren't humble and I don't care to see them fake humility, they genuinely do believe they're superior to the rest of us. And Cate did adopt a child with 46 years, and say, she do it only to give a child a home. she is such a liar! She only adopted a child, because she was to old to getting pregnant again. Her youngest son, Iggy, was already 7, when she adopted a little girl, and she does it only, because she wants a daughter after three boys and was not able to give birth to a fourth child. For Cate Blanchett her children are only status symbols, which she let raised up by the nannys, and this children see Cate only around on 100 days in a year.

I don't think that's a fair critique or even based in reality. Paltrow is the daughter of a famed A list actress (Blythe Danner) and likely became famous due to hitting the genetic lottery looks wise plus having parents with strong Hollywood connections and good reputations. Also, she has her shit together and makes up for her only marginal amount of talent because shows up for work on time, does her best and despite being a wealthy a list actress is relatively easy to work with. She very well may have blown Weinstein a time or two and I doubt it hurt anything for her but if blowjobs were the key to becoming an A list actress then every small town slut trying to make it in Hollywood would have their name on a marquee.

I think Catherine still looks pretty good -- just not drop dead gorgeous like she looked 25 years ago. She looks great for her age though -- I like her.

I generally see arrogance and insecurity as a direct correlation to eachother. Your level of arrogance = your level of insecurity that you are trying to mask. Or they could just be narcissists.

So True even for the working class,Why do you think a promotion to lead ,supervisor or manager or H.R. Suddenly means you are better than the people you worked with the last 10 year's that made you look good Enough to get promoted in the first place. Catherine zeta Jones was once so humble , and oh boy did she change ,she now struts along like she is the world's most special person , she then married success, she is a very average actress, but at the end of the day she shits just like us.-p.s you don't get many intelligent actors , that says it all😂
