Been listening to these fellas for a long time now. After all these years and all the changes they went through they still make great music as far as I am concerned. I love how they have some silly songs but also have a lot of songs that express where they come from, what they have been through and how they feel about life. I honestly enjoyed Day of the Dead most out of all their albums. I thought the mix of rock and electronic sounds really fused the album well. Though the album may not be the heaviest, it sure does contain important messages. A great example is one of their most hated songs; Does Everybody in the World have to Die. The song is talking about school shootings with different sounds representing heartbeat monitors and gunfire. It might not be heavy per say, but it's clever as hell. I thought the album was a great way to get the bands' feelings off of their chests and into the music.

Alot of people are bummes by the loss of Da Kurlz but I am kind of excited to see if he joins Deuce or starts his own solo project. Because after all, we had six people working the final result of their music that we hear in their albums. We saw the potential of Deuce and his personality and skills in his solo work. I would love to see all of them do their own thing eventually. Remember, the music is being influenced and altered by all the memebes. So that's why we see alot of different styles and various songs that hardly seem like the same band would perform i.e. Undead - Bullet or Day of the Dead - Sing. Anyways H.U. makes great music. Been a fan since I was eleven. (21 now) and I also play the drums and would like to see how they all would sound if they did their own solo work.

For those who are lost on the meaning of this song, it's about how the obsession with money,fame and status makes people in Hollywood and Southern California in general(The whole country,really) sell their souls and lose sight of what`s truly important:Family,friendship and compassion. As well as also being a social commentary on the racism and violence within the LAPD and how those who resist the hate are vilified in the Mainstream Media.(And even much of the "Alternative Media" for that matter).
