I absolutely love this, but I do notice a few discrepancies between this instrumental and the original. The first verse seems to be missing the bass riff and overall the drums seem almost too sterile, like they have the right amount of reverb and everything, but it's so clean (I'm guessing because they're programmed) that it just sounds off. Again, I don't hate this cover, I absolutely love it. It's just that it is a little different from the original, and I wanted to offer that constructive criticism.

Oh yeah for sure. My covers are never 100% accurate, some are closer than others, but it would take hundreds of hours to get every single detail to match and because of time constraints I have to make a decision to either upload more frequently or try to make extremely accurate covers. It's also mentally draining to loop sections of a song for hours to figure out parts so I just try to get it "close" but not perfect. I make most of these covers fully by ear so there's bound to be some mistakes and discrepancies, after all it's just my take on the songs. As for the drums, yeah they are programmed as you have guessed. I am aware they sound a little too fake, especially on verses where there's not a whole lot going on besides drums. My production background is mostly metalcore and these drums work perfectly for faster songs with a lot of stuff going on, but I agree they are little of for song like this.
