"bwomp" is the phenomenon that makes the body bump. It's a knee-jerk reaction to fun stimuli (esp. music) that causes people to people dance and/or act in a way that makes them feel good, without regard to outside perception. The song is indeed about the life of Charles Manson, but it goes a bit deeper than that...doubles meaning into the lyrics. Charles Manson was put away for his cult killings and actions upon society that he -used- for his own desire. It's one of those, "Death is the greatest love you can give" type of things. Base statement is, Manson was a user of life. Fair and square on his own terms, regardless of how fuked up a state of mind you'd have to be to agree with that, moraly. Hence, the word Bwomp. The second portion refers to what we're seperating the Users from. The Whores. Or politicians in power to be exact. What they do in legislation might as well be considered no worse and probably more horrid than what Manson did in his lifetime if the full information of bill legislation was available to the public. The question then remains, "Why do we allow this to pass upon us passively, and strike down those who actually believe in something and fight vigilantly for it?" Sure, Manson may have been insane, but he was indeed human. The majority of America, are just those lost in Bwomp and need to be rallied against the injustices around them.

Yes to all! Start with solitaire unraveling because (if memory serves me right) it was their first single. Crazy is a good song just to experience their work covering someone elses piece. Embrace the ending showcases their versatility as more than just another metal band without straying from their signature sound. Check out the band Ventanna to see one of their band member's work with his side band, its just as good I promise. My fav is 43 just because it starts out with the lyric "fuckin folding chairs in the hallway". idk why i find that so amusing. My hubby's favorite is Bwomp. Yall agree that this is just a perfect song. And please PLEASE if you ever get the chance to see them live... DO IT! they still put on the best live show. super amped energy, super crowd interactive, the drummer does all kinda badass drumstick tricks. I wanna hear you just gush after the show.

Mushroomhead is simple yet intricate. The reason their older tracks are hard to break down lyrically is because both vocalists write each song separately and don’t discuss the lyrics other than maybe the song title. Then when they record is when they come together and piece their lyrics together. That way you get two raw variations of what each vocalist portrays the song as. Also this album the song came off titled XX was originally released on Eclipse records, then re-recorded and a few tracks added when they switched to universal records. During that process they re-recorded every track on the original and tweaked some lyrics and sounds in each track as well. I personally like some of the new songs added, however the mastering and sound quality on the universal release was not good in my opinion. I always tell people who look for this album (XX) to find the original Eclipse release as I feel it’s quality is much better. You could also dive deeper in their catalog and find a lot of these tracks from XX on their previous albums M3, Superbuick, and mushroomhead. They did a lot of track carry over until the release of the album XIII which came after the re-release of XX.
