Nu Metal Big 4 - Linkin Park, Slipknot, Korn, Disturbed. i label Disturbed as Nu Metal considering their style is so diverse that they dont really fit anywhere else. Mushroomhead would be a big 4 contender, but not well-known enough imo.

i definitely think that Mushroomhead is talking Nuclear Bombs, especially considering that the band has always had masks that look like something out of Fallout and their music hasnt been too far off either. in any case more Mushroomhead is always welcome, people who call themselves fans tend to hate on the fact that THIS vocalist isnt in the band anymore or THAT vocalist isnt in the band anymore, but i say F that noise because times change and artists tend to have creative differences. certain vocalists werent playing nice or they left to pursue their own thing, but that doesnt mean the band should pack it up like those so-called fans say.

The three men are: Bassist Les Claypool (Primus), Drummer/Percussionist Stewart Copeland (The Police) and Guitarist Trey Anastasio (Phish). A very impressive lineup, and their music is equally impressive. Only one album, just play it front to back, it is ALL GOOD.

The big four of nu metal would have to be: Slipknot, Mushroomhead, Mudvayne, and Motograter. Mushroomhead and Motograter never got that big but they all wear masks/make-up/costumes/etc so fit right in as part of the more visually appealing side of the genre.

Yes, Mushroomhead have admitted that the band's name came from a male body part 😂 Truthfully, Mushroomhead could have been as big as Slipknot... but they come across as lazy. 3 times seen them headline in concert and they only played 50 minutes and bailed while the crowd was screaming for more... No encore, no giving the fans what they want... As a result, their popularity dropped... while Slipknot always go for 1hr 30 min when they headlined and they have an army of fans. Add to that, the drama within Mushroomhead had pushed out almost every major member (only drummer Steve 'Skinny' Felton is an original member)... All 3 vocalists have quit Mushroomhead to date - J Mann, Jeffrey Nothing, Waylon Reavis... as well as bassist Pig Benis... St1tch (keyboard samples)... Bronson (guitar)... Tommy Church (guitar) ... Schmotz (keyboards)... They showed that Gravy (guitar) recently rejoined the band... but it's a new line-up today
