Synopsis:

Stick to the superficial. You can say Jason Stratham is a great action star, that's it. He doesn't have the range for most other stuff. 97% of his movies are just regurgitated action roles, just play the same character all the time, no stretch whatsoever. Some of them are quite entertaining but pretty much after Transporter, it's all mostly the same stuff regurgitated over and over. Great for the mindless junk food crowd. Man, that's like saying every action star is a great actor, Van Damme was a great actor because he had successful action movies??? For Christ sake man do you get the point? Tom Cruise can be generalised as a great actor because he not only can handle action but he can cross boundaries into superb dramatic roles. Hugh Jackman, also an action star but has handled high profile dramatic roles. Have you seen Prisoners (2013 film) co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal, another great actor. And Stratham is just not in the same league, that's all. Christian Bale, amazing actor who can metamorphosis into many different kinds of genres and roles. And I'm only stating actors who also do action movies, not just dramatic actors. Do you get the Point man? ..or is this too difficult or deep for you to understand because you only digest simpleminded action movies?

Yes I got John Wick vibes as well. Stronger though was the Hong Kong style blunt gory violence in the action scenes. Luc Besson Nikita style too in Mark Strong. A tad too complicated and too much inner voice talking which made me want to quit a few times but I'm a fan of Guy Ritchie so I plodded on. Glad he got better after he ditched Madonna. Lol
