John's divine feminine energy fits so perfectly into this space. He doesn't feel the need to dominate or even to feel uncomfortable as the only man in the group, he's just flowing through the experience being gentle like a breeze. He has a very clear and strong spiritual energy that emanates from his being almost as if he himself is a song. Him and his wife are beautiful and I pray more love over their lives. I lost my mom to cancer just two weeks ago and the songs he made about his wife are just beyond breathtaking. So many people at this table are keeping art alive and it's a blessing as AI starts to take over certain art spaces. Human beings can be the rawest form of art. I love all of this so much.

The juxtaposition of floating and then falling down, and the mental health of not knowing how to feel & sadness is so human of her. I feel it’s the best song written of her discography. I’m so excited to see what she brings on in 2024.

I clicked on the video to listen to Billie. I love her as an artist. But that whole conversation was so beautiful! I loved every word and emotion each artist told. It's so human. You forget alot about it because of their fame, but this!? It was just so real and loving. These people are smart. The way they express deep feelings is for sure not easy. This hour long talk went by like nothing.

That's the thing. Despite how much fame and success someone has or lack thereof, it's important to look past all that and see them as human beings.

There is some beautiful shimmery souls in that room. I love how this round table thing is honoring artists for their art, and showing that it is fascinating and interesting to talk about what you do, and not to ham it up, or just answer questions about your private life and useless anecdotes about silly things that happened to you, but actually talking process. It is not boring and people love to hear this.

The actual host/moderator (NOT YVONNE ORJI although Yvonne might be great) - but rather the person wearing the hat…is THE GREATEST I’ve seen from the Hollywood Reporter. They seem natural at it and informed and that there is sincerity and passion and depth present in the conversation. Nicely done.

DUA has such a WARM aura, she is like the older sister vibe in the circle of friends, BILLIE is like the rebel friend but will show up when things get rough and JULIA is the sensitive introverted yet sweetest friend, OLIVIA is the friend who is friends with everyone, like the baby sister that everyone adores, CYNTHIA gives the mother energy and JON is like the only brother only guy in a circle of friends of girls who supports everyone. And the host is like the bar tender that knows this circle of friends who comes often to his bar 😊❤

What I love about this, is how respect towards each other’s stories, successes and lessons are complimented with shared values, mutual respect and relatable creativity. As a creative myself, listening to them makes me feel included despite not being as successful in their scale as they are. The feeling of relating to their processes makes it so inclusive and accepting. Definitely the best interview I’ve watched this new year and I’m grateful for them. Thank you, Cynthia, Olivia, Dua, Jon, Billie, Julia, and to the interviewer, staff and crew of Hollywood Reporter. 💜

I saw the Hunger Games film and the lyrics in the music sung in it and that played in the credits was truly the kind to give goose bumps. It really embodied the subject matter, the feeling of liberation/freedom sought in the franchise by all the people made to fight. I thought it was really beautiful and well written! 👏🏾

i am just finishing watching the entire thing in one go and it’s just really cool not only all of these diverse backgrounds coming together but it’s obvious that they start connecting more and more as they get to the end after unpacking all of their history and more vulnerable perspectives… it’s crazy aha. like by the end i feel like they could all just get lunch together again and it would be super chill. i think it just goes to show everyone can find ways to connect with each other if you give it some time.

I love the sweet moment between Julia, Billie and the wonderful words that Cynthia (having also more years of experience) said to Julia 😭❤️ beautiful… and I love us women for this because we immediately support each other when someone has a problem, because we know what our weaknesses are, we are often too unsure of our abilities and skills and we are often ashamed of it, much more than men in our careers …. And for example as a fan of Billie every time she won an award she often said others deserved it not her .. always awkward moments 😭 she always feels ashamed for every result she achieves and she doesn't like it when people compliment her, even if as a pop artist with that success it's impossible, but she just likes working doing her job bc she knows it’s just her job there is nothing special to talk about it .. here too, she demonstrated that she still has no self-esteem in herself even if on the outside she shows that she is also a badass rebellious stubborn strong woman but this is just a protective shell for empathetic and sensitive ppl like her (her fans know her really well about this) and you can feel this, she immediately felt and saw that Julia was struggling bc she was embarrassing in that moment .. and she immediately touched her hands and everything .. she was not ok for Julia… she is REALLY empathetic and she hates when ppl are not ok … she does this with everyone and her fans too 😊 she always likes to hug / help her fans and ppl in general and she talks to them having fun like they are all best friends, she also go to the park and ask ppl to play frisbee with her 😭 only her fans will understand how amazingly she is inside. And Billie and Julia have the same soul, Billie just hides it better with that badass sometimes not simple but protective attitude. And Julia is an amazing talented humble woman ! And it's true that women are more sensitive to certain things and therefore have more difficulty in stuff like this, but it's what makes us special as women in our work, we always question everything and complicate our lives 😂 because we “like” to live our life fully (too much 🫣) and we want to demonstrate how much we are worth, we know that we could give more and therefore what we give is never enough for us … but then once we grow up we become like Cynthia , with an incredible inner power... amazing thoughtful mature woman ❤️

@@LowSlungBadBitch this summer she was headlining the biggest festival in Brazil (she also made history for the Biggest crowd ever there +100k ppl) and she went to the park alone with her family and she asked some guys if they wanted to play frisbee with her and her brother and then they realized it was Billie 😭 and they played for 40 minutes together .. she also organized many shows in small clubs for her fans to be closer with them during her global tour (the biggest of 2022 by a woman) she goes to the cinema etc she is living her life like a normal person , she even remembers the names of her fans😂 she drives her car alone and stops to met and hug her fans Etc she is amazing… completely herself and not a fake product always perfect following a script of that industry. This is why many ppl hate her too, bc she is not afraid to be herself no matter what, if she think something , wrong or not, she will tell you that even on tv 😅 and she is not afraid to be authentic and herself with her ups and downs and with her mistakes. And she doesn’t want to be a role model for kids, parents exist for this. She is just living her life.
@-pj6ci Жыл бұрын
@@SupernaturalLove100 exactly she also hates hate in general, she also doesn’t care about that world and society rules, she just likes living her own life making her own music and art in general since she was 15. She doesn’t care about awards or success that’s why she also doesn’t make the usual easy fun dance pop music, following the easy success .. with radio friendly music .. she just likes being herself always and making art . She was also happier when she lost all 8 Grammys nominations last year.. she was SOO happy 😂 especially for other artists/friends who won that year, but she wasn’t happy when she won. She has always this “idgaf” attitude but only bc she doesn’t like boxes and she is like a stranger most of the time in that world, even if everyone loves and respects her in that world bc she is a really sweet and charismatic girl, but superficially this society is not ready for authentic real and also too much charismatic and rebel women like her 😅 just like with Madonna. They are real artists, and real artists are usually the most unique sometimes weird ppl . Even if they are completely different, bc I know Billie could die to save a person's life, Madonna wouldn't even look if a person was dying ... 🤣 (I love Madonna but she has 0 respect for ppl even MJ everyone said this) but they are similar for that rebellious part… very similar. Billie has the MJ and Lady diana soul, but the charisma and attitude of Madonna and probably Kurt Cobain.

I love when they talk about how they're like a vessel, plucking music from The Divine. That is exactly how it feels when I write music, and it's so epic knowing these great artists feel the same. There is such a bonding feeling that whether a great song writer winning Grammys, or just a person that likes to just write and play for family, we're all together, tapping into something other worldly, that we can never quite explain. 48:47

Wow.. this video was sitting in my watchlist for a long time and I put it on just to pass some time. But damn.. it consumed my attention wholly. This roundtable is amazing. These people are incredible. I didn't know all of them before, just like they didn't all knew each other but they managed to create such an open, vulnerable and authentic atmosphere, wrapped in a bubble of pure warmth, I teared up multiple times. I love seeing them all connect over art, the process of it, the inspiration and creation, their fears, motivation and effect it had on others and themselves. You can really tell that they love what they're doing and it's so inspiring to see this and how they find connection in it. And so many women connecting and supporting each other heals something in me. Cynthia seems just so full of warmth and honest empathy. The way she listens so attentively, you can see that she truly Cares. And Julia! I relate to her anxiousness a lot. It's so beautiful to see these people acknowledge her accomplishments even though she downplays them. What Cynthia said to her at the end "Making peoples dreams come true" is such a eye opening perspective. And even though Julia was anxious I'm proud of her for making it so well through this video. The round table wouldn't be complete without her
