IT MAY NOT BE UNDERSTOOD AS TO WHAT ANTONI BRINGS TO THE SHOW BUT CLEARLY HE DELIVERS AN ATTITUDE ABOUT FOOD AND A FRESH WAY THAT PEOPLE CAN USE TO NURTURE THEMSELVES. LOVING AND APPRECIATING ONESELF TO THE POINT WHERE YOU DON'T EAT OUT OF CANS/BOXES OR KILL OURSELVES WITH PROCESSED FOOD IS HIGHLY PRIZED INFORMATION. I’m here after looking up “Antoni can’t cook,” and I am so sorry I ever thought that. After a few articles and watching some videos, I now know that Antoni can cook. He never said he was a top chef, he is a food and wine expert. Lots of food critics that write magazine articles don’t know a thing about actually working in a kitchen, but they know food and flavor. Antoni was a restaurant manager, and was Ted Allen’s assistant. He has the training, knowledge, and most importantly the heart to teach cooking. Antoni, I understand your expertise and I now have a new appreciation for your skills and roll in the Fab 5. Thank you for helping the heroes learn easy things they can do to elevate their meals. I’m sorry that you’ve had to hear this bad noise on the internet, but understand that the misinformed will learn the truth just like I did. All 5 of you are such inspirations to all races, religions, colors, creeds, and sexual orientations. I truly love you all. Thank you for giving me new confidence with each unique hero, my life and relationships have gotten better from your advice. I am so grateful that all of 🎵“you, came into my life.”🎵

The cathartic moments are no joke - I had a huge moment with the episode on Arian (even though for most it probably didn't pull heartstrings). I am in a similar situation to him - high expectations from family, used to be a promising kid but I've been having some trouble with taking exams, had a few panic attacks during exams, and that sort of triggered a spiral where I had just been unable to get myself to finish university. I started lying to my friends and family abut taking exams, gained weight, became very lazy and reclusive, basically just like Ari. Seeing him, hearing what the guys were saying to him, it made me see myself clearly for the first time in 2 years. I pulled my head out of my ass, broke off all of my time consuming habits, took my first exam since last summer and passed! I just hope it sticks, but anyway, the fab 5 might have saved my life... I was so desperate and ashamed that I considered suicide, and now I'm actually excited about the possibility of moving on with my life and graduating by the end of the year. These guys fucking save lives, if you believe me.

So glad for you! I'm in a similar situation to him and you, down to having to quit going to college with only one class credit left before I graduated, and having no idea how to pick myself up and recover because that university setting just wasn't right for me and I couldn't see it until it was too late and I had already disappointed myself. I never started lying about it, mostly I think because I've been a problem child as well as being "gifted" since before school, so it just kind of fit into the image my parents already had of me.

Please update us!! Idk if this will help, but take it from someone who also had anxiety and depression in college-- u can get through it!! I had to take 2 I completes jr yr due to a severe lack of motivation deriving from a sexual assault but in the end, I graduated! My uni was big so we had counseling there and I would try and force myself to go to therapy sessions and take my medicine. If you have a disability resource services center, go there and try to get exams to be taken in a distraction free environment! I used to take exams in a small classroom or a tiny office and I would get longer time to take it as well-- I also used to think I didnt deserve it but I know now that just because I have mental illnesses doesnt mean I dont deserve accommodation less that other ppl with disabilities. I initially got accommodations as a just in case type of thing but once I started using them- it helped so much. Truly, best of luck to you!

Bobby's speecht about bringing everyone together and people with opposing views having a genuine conversation instead of a debate, humanizing 'the other' in your own eyes, I think that's so true. I'm more left inclining myself, so I was initially resistant to the Trump-voting police officer and other heroes in that vain, but that's exactly what the show means to me: seeing people for who they are, not for what they are. This is no 'love the sinner, hate the sin' situation, this is sympathising with humans on a fundamental level and getting to listen to them when they are in a calm, vulnerable place, as opposed to a place where they feel threatened and are defending themselves. So often, we only get to see people defend their views or share them with people who feel the same, but rarely can they be explained to us in a setting where we are actually wiling to listen and understand
@ps-ny7rl6 жыл бұрын
Prinses op de Pingpongbal actually in that episode Tan and Karamo wanted to stop filming for the day. Karamo was scared about the police confrontation and Tan was later asked by their subject “Are you a terrorist?” There’s an article about it somewhere...
