The spreader operator at the rear hatch wasted a tremendous amount of time tearing the skin off the door, basically eliminating his purchase points. Had he stopped before he started tearing the sheet metal, re-positioned the tool moving inward toward the latch mechanism, and maintained his purchase points, I think they would have popped that latch sooner, or enabled the cut man to use the cutter on the latch staple, giving them more time to attack those rear seats to remove the PT.

I just want to ask a question about c-spine control: If there are two(2) patient and only 1 medic can enter inside the vehicle because of limited space, how can I immobilize the head of both pt? Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

AleksanderDGreat Immobilizing a head in case of a C-spine injury is priority number one, in the situation described by you we need to make space first. We can do so by cross ramming, and make sure we do it gently so we bring as less movement to the patient that as not immobilized yet. As soon as we can we place a neck support brace at that patient and keep working on space creation until we find enough space to fully immobilize that patient. Sometimes you see we can rescue the first patient in the process of space creation for the other patient.

Sinceramente, parabenizo os colegas pois a situação a eles passada não estava tão fácil, porém com os equipamentos que eles tinham em mãos até ficaria menos difícil. Infelizmente, todos sabemos que nenhuma corporação ou empresa que trabalhe com resgate veicular, que possua equipamentos tão tops como estes... Ali não sei como esta a vítima então não vou opinar mas é uma vergonha o Brasil expor nossos profissionais desta forma sabendo a porcaria de ferramentas e equipamentos de suporte na qual trabalhamos... Tudo limitado! Mas torno em dizer, parabéns aos corajosos colegas!

Fabio Camacho bom dia Fábio, eu sou o Edward da Multstock representante da Holmatro, realmente a equipe está de parabéns, pois eles tiveram a sétima colocação dentre os 26 participantes, dentre eles os campeões mundiais de resgate veicular. Sobre os equipamentos no Brasil, tem melhorado e muito em várias unidades do Brasil, a principal dificuldade da equipe, foi por conta de vários deles nem sequer se conheciam, pois foi um particpante de cada estado.

Hi John, the combination of the blocks underneath the roof and the V-strut on one side was deemed stable enough by both the team and by the assessors. It looked like they wanted to stabilize on the other side as well, but it wasn't necessary.

avec toutes les manœuvres que j'ai pu voir, celle là est la pire!! Rien ne va.... Personnel sans organisation ne maîtrisant pas les outils ni leur utilisation. S'acharner plus de 10 minutes sur un hayon arrière et ne pas le retirer alors que le pare choc est déposé inutilement. Bref, je comprend l'emploi des masques... pour ne pas être reconnus sans doute!!!! PITOYABLE

Malik Manssour, ces réflexions sont bien éloignées de l'esprit du challenge. Nul ne doit prétendre être infaillible dans ce genre d'exercice. L'échange, l'apprentissage et le partage doivent être de rigueur que ce soit en tant participant, concurrent, spectateur ou commentateur sur un réseau social. Heureusement qu'il existe des équipes de professionnels qui se lancent ce genre de défi quelque soit le resultat.
