Yes, that's exactly how it is. You managed to make the bass sound buttery smooth and the synths sound crystal clear yet quiet and it makes for a pretty contemplative sound. I listen to very little House so I can't tell what your inspirations are here. Associations jumping around between The Orb's Little Fluffy Clouds, Will Cady's What Fills the Gap, Worakls sound in general, and a blend of music from the late 90s which I can't really identify by name but makes me want to get back to play Populous.
