Saw the channel name and subbed, no questions asked. 😁 40s beardless gal here, but grew up afraid to be colorful which became (among other things) polish-obsession as an adult. 🤷‍♀️ Self-expression inspires much joy for me and I am so happy that attitudes are shifting towards nail polish being for everyone. I’m not a big internet commenter, but I just wanted to say I love your content and am looking forward to more. It’s awesome to see more men embracing polish. My husband is in a corporate job and has to play the part when he’s in the office twice a week, but he keeps them polished the 5 days at home. (And his toes are always polished.) He likes the way they look, I think he’s extra cute with them polished, and I get to play manicurist on someone other than myself. It’s a win all the way around. He also tends to get tons of compliments from men and women alike when we are out and about. I’m so glad the algo pushed you into my suggestions!

I used to be so afraid to have my nails painted while I was at work and I would do the same thing. But after the shutdown and being able to have my nails painted all the time I couldn’t go back. I was so scared at first but have only gotten positivity. I can’t speak to all work environments or in all countries/states, but times are slowly changing and one day he will be able to wear his nails painted whenever he wants. ❤️

I love your inclusion of the gasps and in-the-moment comments, they're exactly how I react when I'm testing out new polishes! 😂 And I appreciate the comparisons, it really helps visualize the difference in formula and shade! I know Holo Taco also releases comparisons, but, especially with Silent Library, your comparisons were top-notch in showing how different not just the shade but also the formula is to other polishes.

another gold shimmer lover! i knew from the promos i wanted inkwell and secret society, and i grabbed head hunter too (justice for green polishes!). i like ivory tower the more i see swatches of it, especially compared to other white polishes and i might pick it up at a later date. i don’t currently use white polish very much but i think a “softer” white might get some more use

I can’t wait to try Head Hunter, Inkwell and Silent Library. My Cold Shoulder bottle also changed colour and I was bummed because it was my favourite so I am hyper happy to learn that I have a new alternative. Frosted metals are my favorites.

Some other swatchers said that Inkwell appeared mostly black in regular indoor lighting. Would love to hear your experience!

I would call it dark brown in indoor lighting. The base is very dark and so you do need a direct light source to see the shimmer. I really like that though because it’s a dark polish in some lighting with a surprise in the sun. It’s like holo without the rainbow.
