I could wish for a bit more consistency in the design - I could always wish that LOL - but I really love how this turned out. The pastels gave it opal vibes even though it doesn't actually look like opals.

I think you have the best control over consistency of anyone doing water marble that I've seen. This is so elegant & beautiful!

Your watermarbling skills are so good I wish that I could do it that well! I just end up making a huge mess, lol 😂

It DOES look like a "SPARKLY RAINBOW OPAL"... 🌥🌈✨💖Maybe the HOLO TACO "DARK RAINBOW COLLECTION" water marbled on black base will probably look like a "SPARKLY RAINBOW OBSIDIAN"...🖤🌈✨💖I would like to see...!

You have to KNOW that this is going to drive Cristine crazy! She's never been able to watermarble and after watching thousands of nail artists videos over the years I don't think anyone would disagree if I were to hand you the 👑 and proclaim you the QUEEN, HRH Of The Watermarble! I would love to see her use your video in the advertising because I am sure several people would love to know that Holo Taco does work for Watermarble! Thank you Queen Collette!

I have actually seen Cristine successfully water marble a time or two .... just not usually on her nails LOL. She just needs to use these, they were so easy to work with!
@mooncrafternailsandmore79073 жыл бұрын
@@MSLP that is true, she and Beeeeeeeen dipped some shoes etc and she printed nail deck-els as she calls them (😁 love you Simply) and applied them. I hope maybe when we can safely collab again that you can work with her and maybe you can set up, she can dip!

Is that what this polish is? Holo Taco? I've never used it. My husband bought me about $400 worth of Born Pretty polishes, tools, stamps and about 60 stamping polishes. Well on my first try I was excited to have another use for all those beautiful stamping polishes but bother all sank right to the bottom! I got out my box with about 200 various store brand polishes and it doesn't seem to be so much as a brand but a consistency. Color Club seems to do well with their holos and some OPI sinks and some spreads out. Last night after trying various polishes for about 2 hours I finally got 2 pretty patterns to turn out. Ive watched enough videos that I believe I have the technique down..it's just a matter of knowing what polish to use. I'd like to have a list of these colors so I can order some of those polishes and replicate this very thing. Do you cure anything under a lamp? You're fantastic!
@mooncrafternailsandmore79072 жыл бұрын
@@kerriparker5252 yes that is the polish Collette used for this watermarble. I can't recommend anyone more than her to learn how to do it. You're right about the consistency of the polish playing the most important part of the success. Stamping polishes are too thick and heavy but you can use polish thinner (not acetone but actual polish thinner you can get at Sally's beauty supplies and Amazon). I have had some success with most of my polishes when I thin them out like they were new. Not too thin because they can become cloudy and so thin that they leave no color. Holo taco polish did work for me as well. If you have no luck with water marbling just pour/paint thin designs on a plastic bag or silicone matt. Swirl colors together just as you see in water marbling and allow to dry. Once dry to touch yet still flexible you can press on to wet polish on your nails and make sure you seal well with clear, several costs. There are many videos on this out there including on Cristines channel!

Colette I'm just catching back up with you I'm so glad you're back on I hope that you will do this every week because I love how you do nails. I hope that you will start to do some of the acrylic overlay and gel overlays on your nails and others.I really love the shape of your natural nail bed is more of a Coffin Squoval Shape. It's time for you to get in school and take up manicuring so that you can be licensed and hopefully get. You been into it that I have seen for about 2 years and you have a lot to bring with the natural nail beds. I hope you will consider it. If you are a mother happy mother's day. 💎💇🏻♀️🧖🏻♀️😇

@MSLP3 жыл бұрын
I removed your other comment because posting your phone number publuclt online is a Super Bad Idea. I do recommend room temperature filtered water, as tap water can be too hard and polish may not spread as well. The polish makes a difference too, it can take a lot of trial and error to find colors that work best. Just keep testing and experimenting!
