Wonderful interview. I also have to add , having watched many of these interviews THIS interviewer was magnificent! So gently asking the questions she felt pertinent or to keep the reminiscences on track, never becoming strained or unpleasant. The family is also amazing. Just love their spirit.

The relationship Mrs. Billauer had with her sister and three other young women all through the Holocaust is amazing and saved all their lives. Throughout multiple concentration camps these young women took care of each other. It is also amazing that these five women stayed close all their lives, 50 years later they are still each other’s family. Mrs. Billauer lost her parents, two siblings, ALL extended family during the Holocaust as did the other four women in this group! We must never forget!

Unfortunately people still are cruel… unfortunately it’s humanity… We must NEVER FORGET! All the innocent souls who died and suffered through the holocaust is unmeasurable! ❤❤❤❤ This should never happen again but alas, where there are humans there is evil… God bless the righteous among the nations!

That was really a great interview. Angelina was lovely and the interviewer was lovely. Congratulations on such a great family. I love chiropractors! I had two aunts that couldn't hear. I was very close to them. My Grandmother Had raised them because their parents had died when they were real young probably around the 1900's. You can tell that this interviewer really cared.

I've seen Engelina's testimony and that of her husband Richard Billauer a couple times. I'm in love with their strong characters and good hearts. It hurts me that they endured so much pain in their younger lives, but they went on to have one of the most lovely families I've ever seen. ❤️

Such a pure kind soul, it would be hard I would think, to deliberately hurt this beautiful woman and maybe deep down in in the hearts of these tormentors (assuming they actually had one) her virtues shone through and it is why she was able to survive. Huge hugs to Engelina and her wonderful family ❤️💕

I believe this is your Grandmother. At the conclusion when the family gathered I am in tears. A lovely, strong woman. I just saw that her husband, Richard, gave an interview, I will watch that next. My heart hurts for your loss but in her, in their children and grandchildren they created a beautiful family. Thank you.

i have watched so many of these interviews and its so hard to imagine just how terrible the things those monsters did to them. The things humans could do to other humans just I just cant imagine. Those people were demons to do this. The moments she mentioned were her parents leaving and that brought me to tears, the moment she was liberated i sat and cried and when she said she got to see those animals arrested? I cheered for her. The things these poor people endured, i just feel so much for them. She is probably not still living, and forgive me but I hope wherever she is shes looking down on those evil people. Im so sorry i just feel so much anger for them. So much sorrow. Nobody deserves to be treated that way..well the Nazis..

I have watched a lot of these and this one is def one of the worst as far as the unbelievable details of the horror and misery inflicted on jewish civilians durring WWII. Also this interviewer, Carol Weisman, always asks irrelevant ridiculous questions. I hate when she does the interview. One time she asked a survivor what he used to dream about back then... Really? As if anyone remembers dreams from 50 years ago. Smh.
