My great grandma was put in the Aushwitz concentration camps, she survived, she was 14, when me, my brother and my mom used to go to Israel every summer(we go like once every two years now cuz her fam lives there) when we went in like 2012, that was the last time we saw her, she was 112, she was very healthy, just old, we found out she died when we were in Disney in the beginning of the year when I was in first grade. I miss her. She used to tell me and my brother the stories that she had from the camps, she risked her life to saw a friends she met there, and she lived. I hope and pray that she watches over me and keeps me safe, I can’t wait till I get to see her again.

Many survivors... interesting how so many could have survived something that was supposedly designed to kill them? Also...many who were listed as dead or missing were actually alive under different names. Many families unnecessarily ripped apart and separated. The montel Williams show is the greatest example of this. The evils of Zionism and the terrorist state of Israel know no limits.

What a powerful final message! And not forgetting is essential to forgiving. I look at Germans today, who unflinchingly look at their past, denounce those sins, and resolve to do better now, and how much more confident and free they are than certain Americans today who want to pretend that everything cruel and bigoted in our past never happened or doesn't matter, and how fearful and fragile they are, drained by the fight to deny what deep down they know is true.

It's interesting the number of stories I see and hear about people who lied about their age, and with all that the camps did in terms of record keeping (which supposedly was very detailed) this seemed to be an easy way for some people to simply lie about their age without any real verification. You would expect that either after selection or before selection your age would be verified some how... There's a similar story about a girl who was 13 but lied about her age and profession (saying she was 18 and a portrait painter).

I remember Don Carson once talking about the implications of Jesus claiming to forgive people's sins in the context of a Jew who, when asked by a Nazi for forgiveness for what he did to his people, wondered how he could forgive what was done to others, many of whom were dead. Only the offended party can forgive, but God is the party most offended in any sin.

Linna Zhu I despise accents. I got ridiculed for five years for my Accent, but learned from all the nasty people who mocked and laughed, to get rid of it, it required work, constant vigilance and wanting to be better understood by my fellow human beings, but most people with an accent, choose the easy route, they stay with their own, and of course, the country that is supposed to be advanced, isn’t, because most of the population are babbling in their own their native tongues. Assimilation ???? What is that they don’t say.
