What a wonderful story! A wonderful story of survival from a beautiful lady. Her present husband seems to be very loving and caring and her son was such a blessing to her and also her daughter. The interviewer was wonderful and let her tell her story without interruption, unlike some of the others that interrupt constantly. So many narrow scape she had, but she was smart cunning and

It always amazes me how lovely these women look after the starvation, beatings, diseases, etc. they survived. I'm glad she was able to build a good life for herself and family.

Sonia Berson - Amazing testimony. You can feel her memories, as she goes through life in the camp, and the fear after liberation. It is so sickening to hear the atrocities the Russians committed after liberating so many. Thank you Lord for Americans.

I’ve been watching these interviews and they are just heartbreaking. This is why I don’t believe in Hell. Because humans are more than capable of creating Hell right here on earth.

I've watched most of these survivor interviews... and I've noticed a pattern. Most of them are female, and everyone of them say that when they were young they didn't really look jewish.

99.9% of the survivor testimony is amazing but occasionally you come across one like this one where they speak down about people who helped them out. It always bugs me I was raised beggers can't be choosers my Nana always told me that she lived through depressions, pandemics at times in a sod hut on the prairies. When I'm in need whatever the cause or reason I'm greatful. I'm sure those giving food to her father didn't ask for Hitler and gave what they could despite serious issues if caught. I get the anger etc but direct it appropriately not at the people who helped you save it for the ones who threw rocks etc

I understand the sentiment of this. However, this woman is in a never ending cycle of grief. The amount of trauma that hopefully nobody has to endure ever again. It’s easy to be on the outside and say “wow, she doesn’t seem very thankful.” But as yourself this- would you be able to be thankful if you were in her shoes and felt as though everyone didn’t help in the way they needed? As in, trying to stop the horrors instead of just giving some food? It’s a very complex situation. We should all try to be more empathetic and understanding in situations as this. Everyone I’m sure had to deal, heal, and grieve differently. We cannot judge in my opinion. We have no grounds to do so.

It’s easy to tell someone who has been through such hell how to feel you wasn’t in her shoes and what’s that saying until you have walked a mile in my shoes’ the atrocities these people had to go through is unimaginable and you can’t say how she should feel about anyone at that time even if they did help her in a way they still stepped back and did nothing

This world was given to Satan to rule for a "certain" time... It is he who does the atrocities. Not God. We. God does not go back on His sovereign word. When the time of Satan is finished Jesus will put him under his feet but it is the power of darkness who rules this world now. It would require a thorough study for me to explain everything here but all you have to do is look around this world and you will see that it wasn't just in the Holocaust but it still goes on all the horrible things that happen and the floods and the earthquakes and famines and droughts. These are not acts of God these are acts that occur because we are in a fallen planet and Satan is the ruler. But like I said when his allotted time is up Jesus who has overcome on the cross will crush the head of the serpent. Amen
