She is such a beautiful elegant lady. Her testimony is very important and very sad. I'm so pleased she told her story for her granddaughter.

Im not Jewish but I've watched dozens of the shoahs testimonies. My parents were from Albania and they told me about antisemitism and the Holocaust. Even my parents that were not educated, somehow knew all about it. Thank you for sharing this important history. Im sure it wasn't easy but you did well.

Ms. Chapman: Beautiful, classy & extremely intelligent. Grateful for her testimony, family history & to learn more about life in Israel as it became a nation & thereafter. ISRAEL LIVES! I am an American Christian who will support Israel & the Jewish People until my last breath. The time to stand & be counted IS NOW! 🇺🇸 🇮🇱

Thanking Vera Chapman really loved listening to her testimony especially after her family made it to Israel. I have watched many many survivor testimonies and I always used to say this must never happen again.. And it's beyond heartbreaking that Israel suffered another Holocaust. Much Love to this beautiful lady

Blame the parents for not telling their kids. It’s a pendulum I know so much about the holocaust that it’s unbelievable. I always say we, in my family are a product of World War II. 12:26 My father told me never to get too comfortable in my life because I may have to get up and leave at any point in time. I’m not sure that living under that kind of paranoia has been healthy.

At 49', she said "Magina" but she was refering to "la ligne Maginot", which was a fortification built in the 1930's at the frontier between France and Germany , to protect France from a German's attack. It didn't work. It was reinforced with barbed wires, concrete, and underground tunnels.

An empathetic response to a traumatic childhood she was born into would be so much more human. Maybe grasping for the name dropping had to do with her need for belonging.

Read a few comments and I have watched many of these shows but I think she's very superficial and loves dropping names. She's boring and quite insufferable. I'm sure she's passed by now so RIP

your ignorance is exceeding you, the lady is still alive and dropping names is common in Europe for aristocratic circles, Sumner for sure is not an aristocratic name, so I understand that this concept would be foreign to you
