At 2:01 there is a precise jump you can do to reach the platform on the right which is landed on at 2:06. This should save around 5 seconds. Good luck, speedrunners.

I finished the tower and won't be touching it again, but oh do I wish I knew some of these jumps beforehand. There were a few places that I got stuck on that I wouldn't have if I realized I could make jump as you did.

Viewing this convinces me I must not understand the controls because how the hell do you make such controlled movements when you can only pick your direction once you're charging the jump, and the charge is like 0.5s long?

It's just a jump king speedrunner kinda thing, we always press jump slightly before direction key to prefend walking off the edge accidentally.

How do you guys even DO THAT? I mean, ok, it's precise jumping and everything, but sometimes I swear I do the exact same thing and suddenly it gets where I want it to be. Essentially I need tips to realize when I should let go at 0.0000001 seconds instead of 0.00000001 seconds please I've been at it for almost 5 hours now. I'm stuck at 70%. Can never get the timing right on that part, and thus keep falling... then I succeed, get nervous at 80% and fall back down to 65%. It's seriously disheartening lol

Nearly three hours playing this and there is a lot of input issues. Sometimes it doesn't jump in a direction despite my inputs. And sometimes a half charge sends me at full power All I'm saying is if the game expects perfection from me, I expect perfection from the game
