Holographic stickers/ partial foil experiments

hola, primero que nada me encanta tu estilo y las ilustraciones son preciosas 😭💖 iba a comentar en inglés pero entré a tu canal y vi que hablabas español jajaj así que aquí ando. tengo una pequeña duda: veo que es muy común el desfase de la impresión en las impresoras láser y me llamó la atención como lo resolviste moviendo el archivo para la laserjet unos milímetros hacia arriba y la izquierda. quería saber si me pudieras decir cuantos milímetros lo moviste aprox? y si hay alguna forma de hacerlo desde algún programa como el csp, ya que no cuento con silhouette aaaaaa muchas gracias de antemano 🙏 de cualquier forma este video es súper informativo y me sirvió para resolver otras de mis dudas. keep it going:]

Hola, muchas gracias 😊. Sí, me rendí con el inglés jaja. Creo que eran dos o tres milímetros, pero va a variar dependiendo de tu impresora, tendrás que hacer pruebas y medir manualmente con una regla y luego trasladarlo a tu programa. Se debería de poder hacer en csp pero se me hace más complejo eso de las medidas ahí, tendría que investigar.

@@unmaskedmeph3446 Yes, I've tried it with glossy paper and with textured paper and had trouble with those, but with the mate paper and printing the parts you want foiled with a black laser printer it works fine ฅ⁠^⁠•⁠ﻌ⁠•⁠^⁠ฅ

I used thermoadhesive holographic foil, a cheap one from Ali express, I think they're also called heat transfer foils in English. ฅ⁠^⁠•⁠ﻌ⁠•⁠^⁠ฅ

Thank you! I'll try to make one that's more detailed when I feel better, but I have a lot of recorded videos that I have to edit first before I get to that 😅 (i've been sick and low energy)

Do we must use laser jet for it or ink printer is fine too?

You need both for this to work ฅ⁠^⁠•⁠ﻌ⁠•⁠^⁠ฅ the foil will only get on the laserjet parts when it's re-heated on the laminator

How did you get it to only have teh hair as foil? Do you cut it separately and apply it?

The hair was printed on laserjet and everything else on an ink printer so the foil only adhered to the laserjet part when it's re-heated on the laminator.
