It's not leaf juice. It's leaf broth. You extract it by steeping the leaves in water, not by squeezing them.

Coffee is basically 'leaf juice' in a sense then, the beans are a part of the plant, roasted and grinded into smaller portions that can be extracted through water travelling through it, and it's usually oily.

TBF the Bri'ish have a pretty idiosyncratic notion of what constitutes "tea"... What was that one quote? I think it was a visiting US President or some similar bigshot? @sboinkthelegday38926 ай бұрын
Tea tastes like you make it taste like. So is juice though, it's literally kept in storage for years so it tastes awful until it's recolored and flavored, you probably think it's just water with a rank orange floating in it. Because you make juice taste bad. Tea is a leaf extract, same as cola. If you want to enjoy any herb it's a great way to locate the exact taste, might not work out if you have chemical burns from salt, sugar and "spice". Spice. You literally don't have a word for the "good tasting" tex mex food, you just call it hot or spicy for burning your mouth.
