In hanakotoba, the red anemone represents having been abandoned and emotional suffering, but still being in love.

Those flowers can also mean death, so it could also be a lot darker, but I think you guys are right, though.

I think it was G.O.T games who mentioned it's impressive how her voice can match something this heavy without ever having to scream or growl for emphasis. Her regular singing is heavy enough.

Man, this song absolutely slaps! Lyrically speaking, this might be one of the best Hololive originals yet. It's layered, complex and nuanced while still painting such a vivid emotional landscape that you can *feel* what it's talking about almost more than you understand it cognitively. Rather than saying directly what it's trying to say, it presents a series of images that allow your mind to piece together a meaning, which is some true artistry. If I had to take a crack at it, I’d say it’s a song of determination. In a cruel world that’s full of pain, even when you feel beaten down, even though no one can truly know another's struggle, in the darkest of moments you can still reach within yourself and find the will to not give up.

This is my favorite Towa song so far and somewhere in my Top 10 Hololive songs, it's just such a banger. The very heavy instrumental combined with Towa's powerful emotional vocals is just perfection. All hail the Metal Queen of Hololive!

The intro of this song lives in my head rent free... It just hits like a Petal Storm.

To add to the unrequited love symbolism of the flower, some of the points brought up here apply to that as well. When the affection only goes one way it is fundamentally impossible for the other person to understand those feelings as they don't share them. Also because they don't share those feelings, you're generally just another member of the crowd to them (and they could be oblivious to any effect they're having). Smile when you see them because you care about them, internally wither and cry because it'll never go anywhere (especially if you can't move on) My thoughts anyway

Holorock is real! Also, I told myself I wouldn't spend any more on tickets until next HoloFES, but I am tempted by Towa-sama's Sololive in October. Edit: I just finished the lyric breakdown. There's a lot of analogies that fit the lyrics, but the feeling it gave me was of people ignoring trauma when it's not related to them.

This comment is more about Towa's upcoming album in general than ANEMONE specifically, but I still thought it might be an interesting read. Towa talked a bit about her upcoming album, which includes ANEMONE, in her recent chatting stream and mentioned that while the songs might not be too similar sound-wise, they have a similar theme/message (if I understood correct). We also already know 3 of the 12 songs on the album, since Towa said in the same stream that the buzzG song is Raimei and the keeno song is Sanvitalia. Fun flower language facts (going off of what I've seen Japanese Kenzoku mention on Twitter): For the Bloom concert Towa's assigned flower was the "Forget-Me-Not", which obviously mean "Don't forget me" The "Sanvitalia" revealed during her 3rd anniversary the meaning is apparently "Look at me" (which Nodoka found to be quite moving after Bloom's "Don't forget me") ANEMONE, specifically the red one, can mean "I love you". And her 1st album, which includes both Sanvitalia and ANEMONE, is called "Aster" which can apparently mean "change", "sweet dreams", "Love wins", "Trust/Believe in me"

it's been a while since I listen new stuffs from yuyoyuppe, he and his lil bro yuyoyuppa was my favourite voca-p and he was producing a lot under the name DJ Tekina something but not really my cup of tea, glad he produces for towa, the perfect holo singer for his work. And I really hope Risu can have ori song with him as well. I need Risu's growl in yuppe's songs.
