Hololive talents, everytime they want to stream a game, or sing a song, they have to get the license/permission from the publisher of said game. Post Holo-China war, hololive completely cut ties with China, they no longer deal with chinese companies. It's not that they can't get the license/permission, they just don't ask or make contract to get the license/permission.

Honestly, I'm quite curious how active she is as a player. She doesn't seem to know Chevreuse who was first introduced in 4.3's main event. Story skipper or just skipped the event entirely? Well, she is in Hololive and busy AF. Her character roster, even for a FTP, seems really low. Unless she aims for constellations, she should be able to pull a statistical average of 32 5-stars in her entire account. If she had been monthly card only, then she'd be 100% able to actually own every single character if not aiming for any constellations/ weapons.

Slow down, there was never a cut-and-dried ban. Some Chinese companies blacklisted Holo, and Holo stopped going to Chinese companies for perms. Everyone else just stayed away and didn't touch the issue because of pressure from those who did touch it, and it came from both sides. Also, HoloID's testing the waters with bilibili because 1) ID and China have a good relationship irl and 2) Chinese antis don't have beef with HoloID afaik. Thus ID has the least risk expanding into China. Yes, the bilibili database is concerning, but I feel like COVER knows how to leverage themselves and afford thair talents certain protections against threats like stalking.
