ID and the other branches are indeed separate branches. If COVER lumped them all together when they look back on that incident, they wouldn't have greenlit this. Also, I wouldn't call it a "CN Games ban". The CN companies retracted any perms Holo had at the time, and Holo chose not to restore old perms or pursue new ones in the CN market. There's nothing government level stopping Holo from contacting a CN game dev. And let's be real. The stream has happened. It's real. If anyone's old wounds come into play, it's not gonna be HoloPro's or Hoyoverse's (did they even publicly deny Holo perms to their games back then?).
