Holo Myth was special for me Height of covid, i never felt more alone, more isolated, all of my friend activities stopped and i had nothing to look forward to Then, i heard a familiar voice. It's actually not that much of a surprise. Amelia was the Myth member that I watched the least. She always struck me as more of the technical minded, behind the scenes type as opposed to someone taking center stage. Of course she'd be the one to step away first. I'm glad that both she and the company have evolved to the point that there's a better role for her now. She's going to do great.

I would assume since she always has projects in mind she will work with hololive in the background (but she said she wont be staff ,so its unknown ) the most probable situation is that she wants to do independent projects ,maybe with more vtuber company's and holo tried to find a middle ground of not graduating but still not being tied to a contract so she can achieve her ambitions outside of the company ,similar to how bands have solo projects that are independent of their bands label .

Even though this might sad for her fans, I think this is great. I don't know the details, but I think it's likely that she will have some kind of role in the new USA brach. Ame always was the one that helped with VR and other more tech involved streams and collabs, was the one that basically invented making a weekly schedule, and has 4 (plus anything she did before hololive) years as a content creator. I cannot think of any other EN member that could be better suited to have an important role behind the scenes and help build solid foundations there

I'm making a guess here, with what we have available now from Ame and Cover Corp. it feels like she is experiencing Burnout. I've seen burnout happen to a LOT of different streamers and content creators. It feels like the biggest part of this are the fact that she is deciding to step away from streaming and social media but is not "graduating" in the traditional sense is why I think burnout might be a factor. Burnout victims tend to just step away from the thing causing it without fully quitting. Taking some time away to get some fresh perspective and deciding what path they wanna take going forward. Ame recently stated she won't be staff but will appear every now and then further supports this in my opinion. She doesn't wanna fully leave the role of Amelia Watson just yet. She might still come to this conclusion later, or maybe not who knows. It will come down to what she does now in her off time, what avenues she chooses to explore. And since she says we will see her appear again in future events and projects at her own discretion I'm sure we'll be kept informed on her journey thru that. In the end, regardless of what it is going on, I hope she finds strength in her choices and her journey to keep moving forward. I'll be honest, I got legit scared of another graduation especially for a group as solid as HoloMyth. To see her take a different path kinda makes me feel better. Struggling and hard times do not always have to lead to just straight up leaving or quitting or graduating. Hopefully other fans learn to understand this and we maybe see a new chapter be born of this :3

Really not a lot of precedence for how long people stick around in Hololive and it'd be unreasonable to expect anyone to be there forever. Actually impressive from her. It cannot be described as a promotion or demotion, but rather an opportunity that's only available to someone who *wants* it. It implies either an Ame who just hates her job and needs a change, And/OR an Ame who sees problems within the company and would like to fix them herself. Given that her reputation has always been for being a pioneer on a number of fronts, the latter seems more likely. It basically implies an Ame who took a bullet for everyone else, said "fine I'll do it myself," and instead of just abandoning the company, she wants to fix it's issues that she grew so sick of. If I've hit the mark here, then Ame is absolutely a person worthy of respect. It can be comparatively easy to see a flaw or broken system, complain about it and distance yourself from it as a result, but it's comparatively very hard to decide that you are fully capable of helping to fix that problem by working hard and dedicating yourself to make it what you want.

It's a very weird "graduation". We don't know if "affiliate" means that Ame is going behind the scenes or they're keeping the _character_ Ame online while the person behind Ame is no longer with Hololive. It's also more confusing what Yagoo tweeted out lol. Yagoo says Ame and Hololive may work together again in the future, but then also sends her off like Ame is graduating. So it kind of seems like the _person_ Ame is taking an indefinite hiatus and have the _option_ to come back. Responses from other members is like Ame is actually leaving _leaving_ Everything is very vague, which is good, but also sucks lol. Ame is seemingly moving on on good terms though.

Because she did not graduate yet more like she will not be active in her main channel and X/twitter. She exists like those most vtubers who work behind the scene in V corp. I especially heard that she is good at tech and She had said herself, I believe in her 1st year on stream, she has more fun behind the scenes. I think it might have been on her charity stream. Honestly can't say I'm surprised even though it kinda hurts to see someone who has been so influential in vtubing in general quit. But she's been working on a lot of behind the scenes stuff and worked with the company in many ways that weren't directly linked to her vtubing activities, and in a way she almost seemed to prefer that. I'm happy to see that she still wants to work within the industry but at the same time this feels like the end of an era. I hope she has a lot of fun and fulfillment with her new job
