With all due respect, Kiara really isn´t a great example of how german speakers pronounce english. Cecilia definitely is the more common accent. So it really isn´t a matter of Cecilia being an online junky. Maybe the Austrian/Southern german accent makes it harder to learn english pronunciation but don´t quote me on that

Cecilia's accent is what a very good english speaking german sounds like. definitely way above the norm. Kiara's accent is also better than almost anything you would hear in austria. even at universities, or in companies, where people speak english daily.

I always wondered how that one came to be a thing because I never heard a German actually struggling with it. The "th" is much more difficult for German speakers, like Kiara and CC also mentioned in their conversation. I would say maybe 20% of German-speakers have a good pronunciation of the English "th".
